I have been working at All Seasons Event Rental full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Everyday is a new and memorable experience. Great people working on customers milestones. With it being a family owned and operated company you get to work side by side the owners. If you have any issues or work really hard they involved to see that.

    Cons

Most of the work is seasonal so there is always a new team every year. (Besides the core 30 people.) Plus there are some weeks you work 100+ Hours

    Advice to Management

Get a training software or keep more people full time to save headaches and increase productivity.

I have been working at All Seasons Event Rental full-time for more than 10 years

      Pros

Great people, 'family' attitude among employees and management, good benefits and on the job training. Exciting to see the end results of your work with your clients' events.

      Cons

Very fast paced office environment and often demanding clients. (Think Bridezilla.) Busy season is May through October so winter vacations are best.

      Advice to Management

Support staff is key, not everyone needs to be a sales person.

I have been working at All Seasons Event Rental for more than 3 years

      Pros

Family owned company, with dedication to customer service. Management expects a strong work ethic and it shows in the final product for customers. Working on special events and rental orders make for an interesting work day that is never the same.

      Cons

As an event rental company, the work load fluctuates seasonally. This can be hard to remember when you are swamped and working weekends!

      Advice to Management

Leadership is definitely dedicated to the growth of the company. New ideas can take a bit of time to take hold, but they seem to gradually be making changes that will impact the future of the business in very positive ways.

      "Long hours and BAD management"

      StarStarStarStarStar
        Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at All Seasons Event Rental

        Pros

The accounts and the customers are the best there is. The work itself is very stimulating.

        Cons

Very high turnover with no commitment from management to develop employees. They instead create a cutthroat environment amongst the employees that they call motivation. So much potential, it's a shame really.

        Advice to Management

Hire people to run your business, your father's management style doesn't work anymore. Take the time to invest in the future of your company, educate yourselves in personnel management.

I have been working at All Seasons Event Rental

        Pros

You get a lot of hours, so your check is usually decent (700-1000/ every two weeks) There's always something to do, you're never bored. There are a few opportunities for advancement. They will hire you without a drug test or background check. You always know where you stand with the company. Management is usually understanding about time off. The work is not complicated. The job almost always gets done, and you...

        Cons

The work is grueling and mind numbing. Most of the management is very closed minded about new ideas. Most lower-level employees are not treated well, and are subject to occasional verbal abuse. There is definite favoritism in the company, especially relatives of management. Poor management of work/home time. 12-15 hour days 6 days a week are the norm. Management will often do nothing to supervise employees, or to...

        Advice to Management

Go out on a jobsite and do some of the work that the laborers are doing. Spend a week in our life. And take a people-oriented management class.
