Pros
A lot of companies talk about culture like it is an abstract concept to show off in a presentation, All Star truly believes it and demonstrates it every single day. People are cared for, careers are built, and goals are soared past. I genuinely enjoy coming to work every single day, and that is the first time in a very long time that I have felt that way. Every single employee pours their heart into their job, and lives are changed both directly and indirectly.
Cons
This job is hard, and a lot is asked of every employee, regardless of their role. Healthcare recruitment has seen a lot of changes post-COVID, and our teams feel that - however, these challenges are standard across the industry and not unique to All Star.

Pros
- Work from home - The provide a desktop set up and laptop for at home work - First week of training is on site (travel/hotel/food paid for) - Work independently - Strong/long training program
Cons
- Not transparent on the role during interviews. You don't fully understand until week two of training (for multiple roles) - Unrealistic KPI’s and sales goals. They expect you to make 120+ calls a day with long durations of talk time. - They expect you to work crazy OT before and after shift hours as well as your days off - No REAL work/life balance due to the amount of OT - During training, they kind of embarrass you in front of your also new coworkers to build up you sales strengths - Says that theres room for growth within other roles in the company but not for years! - They push company culture but dont practice it. - Your job is to harass random doctors all day and get screamed at on the phone to stop calling them. Even if they say no the company wants you to still annoy them daily until they block your number. - They push for you to give out your personal number to prospective clients. - It’s not explained clearly on how to speak to doctors once they are interested, I never knew how to properly discuss rates or important details due to them not being provided l. If I needed more info it would take forever to obtain it. - Making the sales are really difficult, they brag about how good commissions are but its hard to get unless you slave at your desk. - When you leave the company, they are cold and kick you out of the laptop and all of their platforms within seconds.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, as All Star is always looking for ways to enhance the employee experience. We truly live by our core values such as “transparency builds trust,” each day, which begins during the interview and hiring process. Our Talent Experience team and All Star sales leaders who take part in the interview process provide clear expectations of the Locums Consultant role and the expected KPI’s from the beginning. The KPI’s have been designed to set our Locums Consultants up for success and to achieve their goals. Our world class training team also provides clear and frequent expectations for each team member from day one. All Star’s in depth 6-week training program is designed to provide all new hires with the tools they need before they are fully integrated into their teams. We understand that working in a high-pressure sales role can be challenging, which is why our leadership team is committed to providing the tools and support needed to be successful. Our sales leaders work with their employees individually to set up talk tracks and do role plays to prepare them for different situations which may occur when on the phone with medical providers. Our leaders are happy to provide additional trainings to their employees as needed. All employees are provided with a hard phone and have the option to use their cell phone as well. Work life balance is very important to us, which is why we offer a generous number of paid holidays and 15+ days of PTO per year. We offer employees the opportunity to apply for a transfer to another department after one year of service. Transfers are not guaranteed, as they are based on business needs, and employees must go through a formal interview process. If you wish to provide further details, please email us at humanresources@allstarrecruiting.com. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros
All Star lives and breathes by their core values. They truly are people focused and care about their employees. Working there is wholesome and gratifying as what they do placing doctors at short-staffed facilities saves lives and being apart of that in any capacity is a great feeling! They are fully remote. They’re a growing company so there is lots of growth potential. All Star had the formula for how companies should operate.
Cons
Even the best companies have areas they can improve and grow on. The difference with All Star is they do listen. One of the few cons was their PTO accrual, which is pretty standard, but they recently improved it!
