I have been working at Allconnect full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have been working for Allconnect for about four months now, I didn't have any sales experience; however, I have been able to learn so much and thrive in my role. The training team takes the time to make sure you are equipped with everything that you need to be successful. They even continue to train you as you go along and push you in areas where growth is needed.

I would say one of the biggest surprises in this job is how much money I have been able to make in the little time that I have been here. I thought it was going to take a long time for me to actually make real money but for my first month on the phones I made more than I could have ever imagined and that increased after every month. This company has helped me pay off my student loans a lot faster than I thought. All the hard work has paid off as I have been top ten agent for the last three months. In addition, I get some cool perks like free shirts, free lunches, free reward cards, some days off!

    Cons

The work is mentally tiring at times. It will definitely test your mental power. Also, you are sitting most of the time so you definitely will need to exercise and do some walking in between calls.

    Advice to Management

    I would

I have been working at Allconnect full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have been working at Allconnect for 3 years. It has been a great place to grow as a sales agent into a leader position. Allconnect has very competitive compensation and benefits for all it's employees. It is a company who truly hires within to advance the employees that it has. Allconnect was recently bought by Red Ventures this has been a great asset to our company.

    Cons

The only down side that I have found from coming from the education field is that your time is Micro manged. Make sure you are someone who can follow A schedule and make it to work on time. Needs to be very dependable.

    Advice to Management

Make sure to keep the lines of communication open.

I have been working at Allconnect full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

All Connect has great culture and management that are willing to help if you have any concerns.

They do a good job on recognizing agents accomplishments.

Although we are a young business here in SCLT and sometimes mistakes are made, they do a good job on having agents give feedback.

    Cons

Commission plans can get a little complex while trying to go through trial and error to find the perfect solution.

A lot of changes daily for the multiple providers we work with. can be difficult to keep up with.

Bug and errors with the system can become frustrating at times

I have been working at Allconnect full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Been with Allconnect for 8 months now and love it! I've worked for similar companies for the past 4 years and this is by far my favorite. We sell such a wide variety of products so it never gets old or boring. I also notice a big increase in my commission compared to previous jobs. I really enjoy being on Allconnect and hope to continue my career on this business!:)

    Cons

Sales is not for everyone so make sure you are up for the task. It can be a little overwhelming with the amount of call volume Allconnect receives.

I worked at Allconnect (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You gain knowledge of current technology.

    Cons

I worked at this company for 5 1/2 years and every year it got worse and worse. Especially when the company was bought out by Red Ventures.
    1. The environment is toxic, they treat employees poorly.
    2. No life-work balance
    3. They change the commission structure often! To make you work harder and pay you less

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your employees more and stop changing commission structure every 3 months.

    Pros

Food on Mondays. can make money.

    Cons

    Pros

No pros. Horrible management and they micro manage everything you do. Worst job in the history of jobs.

    Cons

People are not robots. Invest in real marketing as opposed to transferring in people who have no idea who they are talking to. The sales tactics are really bad.

    Advice to Management

    Have some respect for employees.

I worked at Allconnect full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

mostly fun atmosphere, free lunches sometimes

    Cons

you might as well be cold calling with the quality of phone calls coming. micromangers dream paradise. Long hours few breaks Training is great...till you hit the sales floor, then you might well be a paratrooper on D-Day, thats what it feels like..."here you go buddy, good luck!"

    Advice to Management

Better and more consistent training for new hires and newer agents. expecting 35 percent conversion on what amounts to cold calling is a little unrealistic. People are also more productive when treated like adults, not 2 year olds.
