I worked at Allconnect full-time for less than a year

    Pros

mostly fun atmosphere, free lunches sometimes

    Cons

you might as well be cold calling with the quality of phone calls coming. micromangers dream paradise. Long hours few breaks Training is great...till you hit the sales floor, then you might well be a paratrooper on D-Day, thats what it feels like..."here you go buddy, good luck!"

    Advice to Management

Better and more consistent training for new hires and newer agents. expecting 35 percent conversion on what amounts to cold calling is a little unrealistic. People are also more productive when treated like adults, not 2 year olds.

    I worked at Allconnect

    Pros

Commission is great if you follow call flow and focus. The company caters lunches The commute isn't bad compared to other areas for similar positions. Easy to be promoted

    Cons

Long hours, scheduling is tough and randomly selected. A lot of pressure to not get off phones. Calls are routed without knowing why they are there. Call flow is tedious and they tack on points for tiny things.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the surveys. A few team leaders are negatively impacting sales floor.

I worked at Allconnect full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good money in the summer months because a lot of people are moving

    Cons

Long hours , customers getting very upset because they don't know who they are talking to any why , tricking people into buying things.

    Advice to Management

Don't tell your people to force products down people's throats if people don't want it . Don't say well why didn't you pitch Dish or why didn't you pitch something else your not the one on the phone and not the person who has to deal with the consequences of making someone's life more difficult even though Allconnect says we're just trying to make people's life easier. The prices we had on cable and Internet were the same as the companies if you were to call them yourselves.

    Pros

Great lesson on selling over the phone. Good work environment and team atmosphere. Good first sales job for somebody looking to get their feet wet with inside sales

    Cons

Constantly on the phone, no direct sales. Long hours. Short breaks. Rude customers when they get on the phone from you. Typical inside sales job of being on the phone and dealing with cranky customers

    Advice to Management

Good team atmosphere. But I would suggest better hours for employees as well as better breaks when we work long hours

I worked at Allconnect full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pay is well and great place for entry level agents . Opportunities for income ranging from 30k-70k (for skilled agents only).

    Cons

"Hollywood" claim to commission perks . Long hours . 10-12 hour shifts with 30 minute lunches . Commission board posted for all to see. No pay rate privacy . High turn over. High paced and highly stressful. Low pay for less skilled agents ranging from 18k-24k.

    Advice to Management

Upper management and leadership are tenured agents. All have been on the phones at some point in their careers however only refer to prior systems and vintage sales skills . Management should reconsider approach with sales agents in order to lower turn over in company . Too many titles are worn and not enough leading consistently . Management should go through training force for newer providers , packages , relevancies , and new wave of less tenured sales/customer care agents.

I have been working at Allconnect

    Pros

Income potential is high. You can make a lot of money if you get with the right person or entity to get the tid bits in order while new to the process. Hard to

    Cons

Stressful environment. If you are not accustomed to working long hours, short lunches and grueling times on the phone, you can do this. Not for the weak or faint. You have to come in suited up to work very hard.

    Advice to Management

    Shorter schedules are advisable.
