I have been working at Allegiance (CA)

    Pros

I really just accepted an intern position with Allegiance while I finish my last semester of school! I was really stressed out because I wasn't sure if any company would take me not being able to work a full week, but Allegiance cares more about the caliber of their team. I'm excited to learn everything I can about business, management, entrepreneurship and everything in between!

    Cons

I wish I could work the full week!

    Advice to Management

You don't need any advice from me! I think you know what you're doing (:

I have been working at Allegiance (CA) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I have been working at Allegiance for a year now within our marketing division. I have been really focusing on my professional skills in being the best with communication with the client and leadership development with coaching my team. Because of setting goals and having my manager weekly evaluate my performance I have rencently qualified as a top Account Director that will be a rewarded to attend an all-inclusive company...

    Cons

Managers only announced the top five in the nation and I would have love to see the rest of the competitiors who placed working with my major client. Also wanted more feedback in what to improve.

    Advice to Management

I wish my manager showcased this opportunity a little more and discussed the qualifications in more meetings.

I have been working at Allegiance (CA) full-time

      Pros

Been working at allegiance for 6 months now. Started there right after getting my MBA from Sdsu. Had little experience prior to joining them in January. Started off in the AT&T department then after few months got the chance to become one of the HR managers in the office. I learned so much in both positions, it definitely reshaped my personality and helped me improve so many skills in such a short time.

      Cons

Meetings could go long but you’ll never walk out not learning something new.

      Advice to Management

      Casual Friday!!!!

I worked at Allegiance (CA) full-time for less than a year

      Pros

No pros! If I could I would give them negative stars.

      Cons

They are liars! It's not sports marketing AT ALL it's door to door!!! You get dropped off in a location with no car pretty much stranded and they make you sell discounted tickets going business to business all by yourself. You work from 8am until around 7:30 pm and most of it is unpaid. It's 100% commission so if you don't sell anything you don't make any money. They pay you a $200 in training for a week but if you calculate...

      Advice to Management

Stop lying!!! Let people know up front what the job is and then they can decide for themselves if they want to continue with the interviewing process. And pay your employees during your 2 hour morning and 2 hour night meeting. You should be shut down for what you're doing!!! Modern day slavery. Also hire new team leaders who know what they are doing.

I have been working at Allegiance (CA) full-time

      Pros

Allegiance is a great company to work for. You really progress at your own pace and being someone who always puts in 110% I have really been able to advance quickly. I’ve been with the company a few months now and I should be up for a promotion in a couple more months. It’s really exciting being a part of a company where there is so much growth both in myself and my fellow coworkers. Looking forward to the future and...

I worked at Allegiance (CA) full-time

      Pros

Team environment, young, vibrant employees, lots of fantastic life and business advice. The products that are sold are truly amazing as well. If management is to be believed, the opportunity to make 6 figures in less than a year of work is a fantastic one. The head of Allegiance (Van) is an awesome guy, as are many of the account directors working there. Even if you're only there for personal growth, you'll definitely...

      Cons

The workday is 7AM to 7PM Monday through Friday, and at the next level you're expected to work Saturdays and even Sundays as well. If you want to have a life outside of work, this is not the job for you. And even once you make it to assistant manager, or are running your own branch of Allegiance in another market, you'll spend your entire life at work. If that's something that...

      Advice to Management

I've read, and personally seen a lot of people who felt misled by the interview process. Be upfront with potential workers about what they'll be doing. They'll be doing door to door sales, so let them know that, it's only fair. They'll be paid entirely in commission, while working at least 12 hours a day, let them know that. Yes the opportunity you're offering is fantastic, but that doesn't give you the right to be intentionally...

I have been working at Allegiance (CA) full-time for less than a year

      Pros

I love that the work is challenging. I'm able to grow as a person non-stop because of the new challenges that come with promotion. They first teach you how to manage yourself and then teaches you how to manage others. I love the principle they live by--integrity, hard work, being humble. I'm glad to be part of this organization because everything I'm learning I can apply in all aspect of my life. I can honestly say that...

      Cons

Because it's not your orthodox job, things can get a little disorganize. Long hours was a little tough at first but I'm learning that I need to put in the time now so that I can live the type of life not too many people can later on.

      Advice to Management

I would be more organized so that others can see how important it is to be organized as a business owner. I love the open door policy, you can talk to the owner of the company anytime you want. They encourage getting mentored by upper management.
