Pros
Allegiant is a great company. I love everything about it-the standards, flexibility, open-door policy, but most of all the bond with fellow team members.
Cons
There are no cons that I can share at the moment.

Pros
Flexible schedule, good ppl, growing company, opp to travel with family and friends for cheap. Room to move around home bases and move up in the company if you want.. best thing about the company is they do there best to get you home every night..
Cons
Early starts and getting home late.. company needs to be around more for the frontline workers (support). And yes pay and work rules could be better but, overall it’s a business and allegiant is a profitable airline..

Don't Waste Your Time
May 8, 2023 - Financial Analyst in Las Vegas, NVRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The job provided an opportunity to gain experience, even without prior experience. The job offered a meaningful and fulfilling work experience. The job didn't entail working outside of 9-5.
Cons
I worked at this company for a while and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. There were several bad experiences that made it very difficult to enjoy working there. One major issue was that the directors were often hypocritical in their actions and expectations. They would say one thing but do another, which made it hard to know what was expected of us as employees. Another major factor that affected my experience was the managers. They had a huge impact on whether I enjoyed my work or not, and unfortunately, many of them were not supportive or helpful. The work that was required of me often felt overwhelming and disorganized. The company itself was also very unorganized. There were constant changes to policies and procedures, which made it hard to keep up. The attrition rate was extremely high, and I was constantly working with new people, which made it hard to establish relationships and work effectively as a team. The pay was also very low for the industry, and there was no room for job growth or advancement. I felt like I was constantly trying to find redundant work to occupy meaningless time, which made the days drag on. Overall, I would not recommend this company as a place to work. There were too many negative experiences that outweighed any potential positives.

Family Atmosphere with Great Perks and a Solid Future Outlook
Apr 20, 2023 - SupervisorRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Honestly, no matter the position you're working in with Allegiant there is always an overall family feeling. From the Flight Attendants and Pilots to the Gate Agents and everyone in between. Throughout my years with Allegiant I've made a lot of great connections and friendships not only in my own base but also throughout Allegiant's network across the United States. With the addition of Allegiant Stadium, the upcoming Sunseeker Resort and a variety of other partnerships and future endeavors, I feel as if Allegiant has a great gameplan for the future and will continue to grow and offer nonstop flights and destinations to locations and customers that may have not had the opportunity before.
Cons
Cons are a tough area to rate because it depends on what positive you have. Flight attendants in one base could have too many hours while another base doesn't have enough. Location has a big influence on what you'll work but, just like every other airline, seniority will always play the largest factor. However, I will say that being home nightly and being able to have the most flexible work schedule in any industry is helpful.

Pros
Very flexible. After being there many years I am able to create a schedule that works for me. You are home every night so you dont have to spend nights in hotels (unless there is something unforseen)
Cons
Some of the lowest paying in the industry. Maintenance issues. Some bases have enough hours for people to make a decent living but others barely have enough to scrape by. Management doesnt care about you. They want to give you as little as possible.

Great benefits and people! Supportive leaders and team mates that provide immediate feedback so you can truly continue with personal and professional growth. Actual teamwork at all levels of the organization. I never felt more valued by the company. My leaders utilize the tools provided to maintain a fun and connected work culture!
Cons
If you are looking for a typical company that doesn't appreciate your ideas or work, you won't like working here.

Sub-industry pay and work rules
Apr 19, 2023 - Flight AttendantRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
It takes a while to build up your seniority, but once you get there this is a wonderful job. We have flexible hours, the best coworkers you could ask for, wonderful passengers, and travel benefits that are industry standard.
Cons
As much as I love the job, everybody employed here hates the company. Upper management is shady, petty, underhanded, hypocritical, and generally aren’t the kind of people who are well respected as leaders, let alone decent human beings. Allegiant has a culture of promoting people based upon how well they kiss butt, not based upon their qualifications for the job. And it doesn’t matter how good of an employee you are, they will try to make an example out of you in a minute. Hard work and loyalty mean nothing at Allegiant. Just do the bare minimum and go home.

Pros
I like working for Allegiant. I just started working here very recently and very much enjoyed training and starting out at my base. The main thing I enjoy about Allegiant is how small but big the community is. It’s like everyone knows everyone. For a larger airline with fewer bases you can work at a base with thousands of people. At Allegiant we have more bases but fewer flight attendants at them, so it’s easier to get to know everyone and form friendships. Another great thing about Allegiant is that they allow us to choose our base, as opposed to getting it picked for us. We also get to be home every night which is another plus. As far as coworkers go, the other flight attendants are very welcoming and friendly especially to a new hire, as well as overall having a very diverse and inclusive environment.
Cons
All in all I love Allegiant. One of the downsides would probably have to be not getting to stay over night anywhere. Although this is also a good thing, every night we get to be home and we get to see our families. There are some moments where I wish they gave us the ability to stay overnight somewhere every once in a while if that’s what we want.

Airline operations struggling
May 6, 2023 - Flight Attendant in Clearwater, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Schedules for flight attendants and pilots allow them to be home every night. No layovers. There is a lot of workplace diversity and culture.
Cons
Operations is in dire need of reorganization. Pay and current schedules are in need of revamping. Pay is below industry standards for pilots and flight attendants. Hours have become extremely low due to pilots leaving for better pay and opportunities. Low morale between flight attendants due to lack of hours. The company is focusing too much on their new resort. Complaints from inflight is not being taken seriously. New uniforms are needed.

Looking for great support, look no further.
May 10, 2023 - Anonymous Employee in Las Vegas, NVRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great team environment. Management wants you to succeed, not only in your career but in life as well. With the strong support structure, you do not feel as if anyone is out to get you or waiting to jump on you if you make a mistake. Have actually encouraged several friends to apply for employment with Allegiant.
Cons
The only real con to working at Allegiant is the office setup. With the open office concept, you cannot take a private call at your desk. You have to run and find somewhere to talk.
