I have been working at Allegiant Travel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Been employed as a flight attendant for almost a year. Home every night, work with good flight crews and opportunity for growth.

    Cons

As Flight Attendant we are on the front line. Allegiant should care more about its Flight Attendants. There is no union representation

    Advice to Management

On the executive level, management should care more about its Flight Attendants and not just the bottom line

Great group of co workers . Once you gain seniority you have the ability to creat your work schedule to your needs. No overnights , if you have a family this is a huge plus

    Cons

Starting off you are put on reserve which can be difficult to manage if you need to have a second job .

I have been working at Allegiant Travel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Collaborative work environment among peers; laid-back atmosphere; great culture and co-workers; profit share, travel benefits; Promote from within, Floating holidays, 401(k) match, HSA match

    Cons

Not sure my leaders actually know what it is my peers and I do; leadership tends to micro-manage; annual salaries are below market average (per business model)

I have been working at Allegiant Travel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible time, remote work possible (they don't care how much time you gave or from where you worked till work is getting done), well-organised team and technologies. It has its own IT building so you feel like you are working on some engineering company.

    Cons

Lay back culture, so if you are young and enthusiastic about learning new things everyday, it can be a disadvantage to you.

    Advice to Management

A Programmer should have more levels like Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, Senior Staff Software Engineer, Principal Engineer, Software Architect. These positions are for those programmers who are seniors and want to get recognised their effort but doesn't necessary want to take managerial role or other non-technical role.

I have been working at Allegiant Travel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Casual office environment (jeans are allowed), good bonus program, and management is efficient and approachable without any micromanaging. The majority of employees/coworkers are friendly, and the overall the environment is very pleasant to come in to every day. I would also put the open office plan mostly in the Pro category. HQ is also full of windows/natural light.

The company also does a lot for employees in terms of fun but optional events, holiday parties, and enrichment programs.

    Cons

While benefits are competitive within the industry, I would love to see the company lead the industry on paid maternity/paternity leave. Currently there is no paid leave, which is why I only gave four stars for the work/life balance and benefits categories.

I worked at Allegiant Travel (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, only 40 hours/week, and great location (Las Vegas). You get a nice dual monitor set up and real projects to work on. I recommend this internship for someone who has some experience with excel because there is little hand holding

    Cons

The salary is low and the projects are very diverse, so it makes it difficult to do deeper analysis.
