    Pros

    People people people
Learn a lot about the industry
Transparency into a lot of different areas
    Stability

    Cons

    Money
    Leadership
    Benefits
    Bros club
    Mostly male leadership
    Don’t take women seriously
Company asks for feedback but never takes it and will flip your career if you speak your mind

    Advice to Management

Stop doing what you are doing. Show appreciation for people that put in the work. Don’t let people lead teams unless they know what that team does. This is a good company but will never recommend to anyone after my employment.

    "I hate my job"

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

    Weekly pay
    A month of vacation time
    Not much supervision

    Cons

Low pay for position in comparison to other companies.
Absolutely no such thing as work/life balance.
    Complete chaos. No structure.
They allow the client to treat you like trash.
    Not many holidays off.

    Advice to Management

I have a few years of recruiting experience and did not have any trouble in my past positions. I’m completely miserable working here. I have no issue with working hard but There’s only so much time in a day. you people don’t care if I have to work 12 hour days and never see my friends and family. I’ve expressed that I am completely overwhelmed and you don’t care. You keep piling on the work. I obviously need help and there’s availability for that help so why is it not given? I’m thankful for the weekly pay and vacation time but that’s it. I had a feeling this job was going to be this way and I didn’t listen to my first instinct.
I completely regret leaving my past job. Praying to god I can make it until I find something else. #TempeOnTheRise

    Pros

Amazing leadership. Opportunity is there if you go after it, vs sitting back and waiting to be tapped on the shoulder. 20 days PTO to start.

    Cons

Pay could be more competitive. Benefits are not great. Do not expect more than 10% increase when you get a promotion.

    Advice to Management

Advance with the economy. Renegotiate benefits for employees. Take care of the internal individuals who are loyal to the company and proven success stories (vs going external and paying more for people who haven't committed yet).

    Pros

Good opportunity for someone junior in their career to learn how to grind and recruit.

Exposure to several Fortune 500 organizations

    Cons

Over the past year the company, especially in the Troy office, has lost pretty much all of their top performing minorities which should go a long way to show you the issues with the culture in the organization. Their might be one minority across all of the leadership team. This along with long hours and low pay are why I cannot recommend Allegis to anyone unless you’re just setting out and looking for a resume builder.

    Advice to Management

You might want to take a minute to understand why you’re losing your top performing minority employees because something is obviously broken in your organization.

AGS is great company to start out with as they are more than willing to train, provide experience and opportunities for growth. They value building strong relationships and working together in order to be great. They also know how to make a large company feel like a small family.

Pay is low for the work/life balance they claim to achieve.
