I worked at Allegra Direct Communications full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

M-F hours, a job is a job, work/life balance. I would give this job 0 stars if I could in every category.

    Cons

Low pay, short breaks, high turn over rates, stinky bathrooms, angry customers

    Advice to Management

Pay your workers better, the reps here perform the same job as Blue Cross Blue Shield workers and receive half of their salary.

I worked at Allegra Direct Communications full-time

    Pros

    - Steady schedule
    - Decent healthcare benefits
    - The knowledge attained from having worked there
    - At the beginning of my 5-year employment there, we truly were a group and it almost felt like family

    Cons

    - After about three years, office politics became a huge issue (in the most adolescent way)
    - Favoritism to extreme levels
    - Many supervisors and team leaders were rude, unprofessional and lazy
    - I was told I would be promoted, only to be told later that I would not be promoted
    - The multiple systems used, at first, worked well, but as time went on, there were many disconnects, and inconsistent information
    - Major disorganization, by the end. All the while, supervisors sitting at their desks "filing their nails", so to speak. Utter laziness and unfit for their positions.

    Advice to Management

Reconstruct your hierarchy so that competent people who deserve promotions get promotions. Do away with the silly politics. Be realistic about your expectations. And pay people enough so that they can support themselves. Companies don't just run themselves.

    Cons

unfair points systems clocking in and out for breaks and lunch

    Advice to Management

better training programs needed there was to much room for errors because we weren't sure what we were allowed to do and not allowed to share.
