I worked at Allergan full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    aggressive executive leadership; mergers/acquisitions
robust pipeline in multiple disease states
    current company and product success
numerous career advancement opportunities in multiple areas

    Cons

    Multiple acquisitions/mergers (3 in 3 years)

shifting processes, priorities and directions from executive leadership
Organizational growth has created less focus on the individual, the territory, the overall success ... and more on the 'process'.

I worked at Allergan full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the old Allergan people are still around. Only pro right now.

    Cons

The new leadership in Austin Tx took over in 2015. Since then the site has gone downhill considerably. The individual lacks integrity and honesty. Good luck working for liars. They hire externally instead of promote from within. The managers left are a joke and the director's lackeys.

    Advice to Management

Replace the director. Stop killing the morale. Keep the managers who actually care about people. Stop putting people with poor ethics in charge. Other places pay as much if not more than Allergan. If you are looking for a job, then go somewhere else.

    Pros

Made various efforts to improve employee morale and make all employees feel like their respective contributions are important.

    Cons

Not a bad company overall, but US operations should be headed by US employees and the same for each country. Having to call someone in another country for advice on is odd, time consuming and unproductive.
