I worked at Alliance Health part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is a solid pay for a call center job, and really good for any part time job. Can't really expect to make more part-time for just answering calls

    Cons

Hours aren't really flexible, at a minimum you have to work 3 different six hour shifts every week. If your schedule doesn't allow for that then they won't work with you to accommodate it.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible with schedules, especially since most of the employees are college students with varying schedules and hours that they can work each day

My managers where awesome people who really cared me and my career goals.

    Cons

I don't feel like they gave their connect product line that attention it deserved.

    Advice to Management

    Stay awesome.

Lack of experience and business acumen at corporate level

    Advice to Management

When employees stick by your company through the tough time of chapter 11, I don't think the proper response is to have a VP hold a conference call and tell all the site managers how they are doing "things wrong". If one or two managers aren't performing how you would like, use some coaching and constructive criticism to help them! Here's a novel concept "MANAGE THEM".

Using this elephant gun approach to take care of a small issue just leaves the A and B players with a bad taste in their mouth. Just try to coach up the C players or get rid of them!

This is the thanks the people get who stood by you when they didn't know from one day to the next if they would have a job?

Having a meeting where you tell everyone what is wrong without taking any Q & A is unprofessional!

The Chapter 11 must be going well, because it looks like the company is going back to its old management style.

    Pros

I loved working here!!!! Great environment with reasonable pay for a college student

    Cons

they put you in teams and have you compete with members of your team... maybe it would be more effective to have teams competing against other teams

I worked at Alliance Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Up to about early 2016 it was a great company to work for. Very flexible and promoted talent from within. Early 2016 the company's deceptive and shady business practices started to catch up with it.

    Cons

Currently AH is in chapter 11 bankruptcy with extremely negative outlook. All locations were raided by FBI in February for numerous reasons, one of which is fraud. The company is being sued by by numerous insurance companies and manufacturers for fraud. Numerous pharmacies. were shut down by local regulatory boards. As others say, direction changed almost weekly, but that was because we were getting exposed for some new shady practice every week and had to adjust.

Worst part is, most of the best employees the company once employed have now left. It seems like every week two or three people holding skilled positions leave, and those still employed are desperate to jump ship at the first good opportunity. It quickly became a rather depressing environment.

    Advice to Management

Give truth a chance every once in a while. No one believes a word upper management says at this point.
