I have been working at Allianz Partners full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Despite some negative reviews here, the CEO seems ok.

    Cons

My time in Market Management has been punctuated with sexism, favoritism, and ego-centric decision-making. I think the work is created to please the biggest ego in the room. There seems to be little motivation to improve or change the status quo due to fear of retaliation.

    Advice to Management

    - Leadership training for managers - equal pay for equal work - email/technology training for managers - Opportunities for employees to share feedback about managers to more senior leadership and/or HR

I worked at Allianz Partners full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are decent. Rotating weekends can be seen as a perk, as weekend shifts are usually mandatory for call centers.

    Cons

Policies and Procedures are not uniformed, it really “depends on your manager.” — Speaking of management, aside from focusing on metrics that overshadow the customer experience, it is clear the company just wants to fill seats with training after training class that shortly seeks out other employment after being on the floor for two weeks at best. The departments are understaffed while the people that do show to work...

    Advice to Management

Promote someone who is equally competent as efficient. It’s easy to regurgitate scripts all day, not easy to report to someone who knows less about the job than you. Have a better escalation procedure, have better support for weekends. Don’t hire someone for one position, i.e, customer service and then make them a B2C or Sales specialist when 1. That’s not what we were hired for and 2. Not being fully trained or compensated...

I worked at Allianz Partners full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good Work Life Balance. We were on Flex Schedule in the Richmond, VA office. Some positions were allowed to work from home. Benefits are phenomenal (medical, bravo points, etc.). Career services/advice available. Team events are cool. Inclusive and understanding environment. Transparent on business plans and future plans as whole to all levels of employees which creates a sense of ownership.

    Cons

As a result of being an inclusive environment, there are employees who take advantage and slip through the cracks even though they don't perform well. It makes tasks a lot harder for the rest of those who are performing well, as they are the ones who are visible on the work process. Too many unnecessary, "touchy-feely" meetings about how someone felt hurt by the way the other employee sneezed so to speak. It is hard...

    Advice to Management

Not everything constitutes a 1 on 1 meeting to address a situation. Prioritize the meetings as a manager instead of focusing and amplifying office drama. As a result the effectiveness of these meetings are lost. Instead of focusing on team productiveness and quality, management is spending too much time on feelings hurt. They need better training on trying to figure out which is a hearsay and which one is a legitimate...

I have been working at Allianz Partners full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Management is helpful and advocates as much as they can for you. If you put in the work and go above and beyond- it's noticed.

    Cons

Difference in pay moving from department to department. 1% increase per move is very low, a call center associate makes .15 cents less than a claims examiner with a higher work load and added phone time a few hrs a day.

    Advice to Management

Provide higher raises for the work provided, this is to higher up management
