I have been working at Allianz full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    401k: 1 for 1 match to 7.5%, 0% vested until 3 year mark, then 100% vested.

    Cons

Mass layoffs, terrible data quality, constant quality control issues, noisy and open working space, management will throw you under the bus for their mistake, revenue is shrinking, no raises for years, homegrown terrible software, increasing work with less staff, extremely limited career advancement, takes 2 months to get a data report adjusted.

    Advice to Management

Sell off Fireman’s Fund and get back to your core. Work to get better quality data. I've never worked for a company where we just plug $20+ million and don't have ways to breakout basic data.

I worked at Allianz full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits, salary and facilities are above avg.
Long tenure for those that schmooze and play passive aggressive well. Stay below manager level and your good

    Cons

It and Operations Sr Leadership act like children and fight nonstop. Complain about a Dir or VP to HR about inappropriate behavior and you're shown the door. Everyone has a spouse, sibling or is related some how.

    Advice to Management

Stop protecting each other and do what's right and get rid of the bad people and bad behaviors. Starting with the C level and VPs.

I worked at Allianz full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

None since Allianz took over the smaller company I worked for. Became increasingly intrusive until they took over everything.

    Cons

Allianz as a company treats people poorly. People aren't individuals, they are drones to serve the cause.

    Advice to Management

Get some smart people to work for you in management positions.

I worked at Allianz full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good vacation and benefits (a bit expensive)

    Cons

If you're not someone's favorite, you're pretty much out of luck.

    Advice to Management

Be honest with your employees and fix the systems that are very outdated.

    Pros

close to the short pump mall

    Cons

management does not care about your health or work life balance.
    management is uneducated
they steal customers money through their event protector product on ticket master. The director stated that it was good for revenue, when people make a purchase and have no idea.

    Advice to Management

    close

I worked at Allianz full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Team Leads are very laid-back, great location, good benefits

    Cons

ZERO JOB SECURITY. Upper management uses the word "transparency" a lot which is a flat out lie. All jobs have been sent to or in the process of going to India.

    Advice to Management

Fight for American employees, off-shoring needs to end! Be more open.

    Pros

Benefit package was nice. Nice facilities.

    Advice to Management

    Leadership completely lacking.

I have been working at Allianz full-time

    Pros

The company itself seems solid but the Bankcard Upper Management is awful to work for. If you work for the non-call center part of Allianz, I hear great things, but otherwise steer clear.

    Cons

Don't work for the Bankcard Division. The office manager is a tyrant and makes it a very poor place to work. The benefits (health 401k) are decent but the pay is low.

    Advice to Management

Fire the manager she is an awful human being.
