I worked at Allied Global Marketing full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Flexible hours, fun coworkers, laid back environment, free movies.

      Cons

Pay! Would be a great company to work for if the pay wasn’t basically minimum wage. This is why the turnover rate is so crazy.

      Advice to Management

Pay employees more. Could make more money working at McDonalds.

I have been working at Allied Global Marketing full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

I have worked for Allied Global Marketing for 6+ years. I sought out working for a company like Allied based on the fact that they offer a myriad of effective and exciting Marketing and Advertising capabilities. I work with team members from all walks of life, businesses and personal experiences. I enjoy learning about their businesses, while perfecting mine. In addition, I love the entrepreneurial nature of the company,...

      Cons

Allied Global Marketing is a large business with 20+ offices across the U.S., Canada and London. It's challenging to find the time to get to know everyone and their work in the different offices. To be honest, there are times when we may not be fully aware of others’ successes. But we are working closely with the Management Team to find a better way to share and communicate our individual work, so that we are fully...

      Advice to Management

Continue to support an environment of sharing and communicating key work giving us knowledge to help share with our clients. The bigger picture is always helpful when strategizing and creating campaigns for our clients.

I worked at Allied Global Marketing full-time for more than a year

      Pros

      - access to lots of free movies - chance to plan press tours for celebrities - made some good friends here

      Cons

      - passive aggressive managers - insane work hours (that they don’t tell you up front about) - some days needing to be in the office at 7am and working until midnight - no work life balance - managers will guilt trip you about taking vacation - near impossible to move up - laughably low pay: kept low to incentivize employees to take on more OT - forced to sign up to take on OT when you don’t want to - you will work on...

        Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Allied Global Marketing full-time for more than a year

        Pros

Strong clients (until they find another agency to represent them)

        Cons

Unprofessional, terrible CEO and upper management that allow for sexual harassment in and out of the office. The company does not care for its employees, and lets their employees know that very clearly. Mundane work as management always asks for the same thing (no creativity). HR and the CEO will never help you if you have a legitimate complaint about the company, so employees do not feel safe or comfortable at work....

        Advice to Management

Listen to your employers, because chances are they are much smarter than you. I would give more advice, but management is the true problem and they don't listen to advice.

I worked at Allied Global Marketing full-time for less than a year

        Pros

None! Only good for starting a job but not good for long term. Great clients to work with due to healthy budgets. Free movie tickets only if available.

        Cons

No one has a clue on what they are doing and there is no room for growth. Everyone complains about pay and benefits. One in particular seems "quite anxious." I dont know why these people run the accounts. Get worked to death and no good insurance or benefits.

        Advice to Management

Good luck keeping your A+ workers if things dont change.
