I worked at Allied Market Research full-time

    Pros

Some Mangers are good even they lack proper authority, they still matter. Salary on time. U get comp off if u work on Saturday for clients.

    Cons

Worst HR team and policies. Bad appraisals. Performers don't get appraisal but those who stick around stakeholders do. A lot of lies being told while hiring people-Beware. Many good managers and resources from research team are leaving the company(many left already). The company is not good for research people as the active stakeholders know nothing about research. Sales team is held in high regards and is encouraged to tell lies and promise any scope, timelines and Toc to the clients without consulting the research team. Once the sale is done and payment is received, the research team is forced to work on wrong Tocs in stringent timelines. If u get post sales queries u r held responsible after all this.

    Advice to Management

Please realise that u are not qualified enough and not knowledgeable enough to handle the company. Provide with authority to the people who are so and let them better shape the company.

I worked at Allied Market Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

HR team, especially Assistant Manager Anindita Roy Chowdhary is always available to listen to employees concerns.
Fun activities carried on festivals and fridays
    4 pm Music

    Cons

Management relies to much on few managers, hence they are not able to understand the real problem faced by employees.
    Lack of streamlined work

In this organisation anything can change any time.

    Advice to Management

Allied Market Research is a good organisation if authority is not only given in the hands of few managers who are biased and not ready to change their perception at any given point.
Keep your employees at lower and mid level motivated as they are the one from whom the actual production comes.

I worked at Allied Market Research full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly team - everyone is very friendly and will make you feel comfortable
Flexible timings - just required to complete our work hours and follow the break and work hours policy to avoid any issues during payroll
Supportive HR - special mention for Mrs. Anindita Roy Chowdhary. She respected everyone and their issues and provided them with solutions. Many of us stayed in the company for long due to her efforts.

    Cons

No cafeteria space, no vision for future, too many stakeholders therefore no conclusive decisions, too many false promises, and anyone can get promotion just by flattering senior management

    Advice to Management

Kindly listen to your employees and their needs and start valuing the good employees before its too late. Create a vision and believe in it so that your employees can believe in it too

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Allied Market Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

No pros to mention at all

    Cons

It's not a place to work, it is basically a place where top management guy falls in love with hr and do time pass. Secondly, there are no insensitive at all. They will commit u about insensitive on 1st of every month and they will forget it by the end of the month. Then all u have to do is keep on doing follow ups and keep fighting for that money which belongs to u. Basically u have to beg for your money only. Unnecessary salary deductions. HR is soo lane and useless that they don't even bother to reply or revert u properly.
Admin and Accounts sucks. Full of fakeness and mindless people.

This will obviously happen if u give departments to those who don't even deserves to be a floor cleaner.

One more thing, all good leads and hot query will be handle by them and sales team will get garbage and the funny part is they ask to close deals from that.

    Heights of fakeness and stupidity

    Advice to Management

Just be a man of your words and have shame to accept and deliver. What all commitments u make in conference room, do fulfill them.

Stop running from people to pay. Just pay what u commited as people deliver for this coming and for earning some more money.
