    Stress Free, laid back atomosphere

    Cons

    Invisible management at times, hard to stay on top of projects when decision forks come about and no one around to make the call

    Be available, proactive, and communicate to subordinates.

    Pros

    Good Benefits, generous PTO, flexible with schedules, you can advance if you have a degree, work hard and/or sell your soul.

    Cons

    This company will suck the life right out of you. Insufficient training in many departments, although the instructors are great they are not given enough time with new hires.

    Advice to Management

    Stop bullying people, remember that customer service is more important than the number of calls a rep can take in one day. Seriously, how can 2000 crappy calls be better than 1500 excellent calls? Be fair to your good, loyal employees. Don't dump so much work on them that they begin hating their job. Stop being soul suckers. There are some really fantastic people in every department, in every office. Recognize their talents with something other than a candy bar, or a small yearly bonus that gets taxed to the hilt! I'm not posting this review as someone unable to succeed at Allied, I did succeed! But then things changed, policies were scrapped and it became a numbers game that I could no longer take pride in. Above I mentioned lack of training. Please understand that is not the fault of those people who are actually doing the training. They work hard and do the best they can in the short time they are given. When I started my career at Allied, it was 8 weeks before I was allowed to have any customer interaction. Go back to doing things right the first time! Plus, the pay is not at all competitive.

    Pros

    Various opportunities to grow my career. Very supported by management to build my expertise and enable me to move upward in my position. Various departments and positions available once you get started to find the best fit. Office space is very nice & fun. Ping Pong table to play on break times along with food days from Olive Garden or Central Catering.

    Cons

    None for me. Very friendly and collaborative environment with new challenges always in motion.

    Advice to Management

    Thank you for your willingness to believe in me and help me grow from a Customer Service Rep to my new position!

    Pros

    This is truly a company that cares about their employees. Management is very approachable and they take every new idea for easement of workflow into consideration. I have worked with Allied for many years, and I am extremely happy with my career and the company as a whole. They offer annual bonuses and annual salary raises. They truly make you feel like you are a part of a big family. The camaraderie with the company is great, and that is what makes coming to work on a daily basis something to look forward to. Managers and Supervisors really do work with you in regards to your work schedule. If you need any assistance with anything they are right there to give it to you.
    This is the type of company that likes to promote within, and there is always room for career growth within the company.

    Cons

    I can not think of any Cons when it comes to Allied.

    Worked for this company for 20 years. The room for advancement and growth is amazing. Could not imagine working for any other company.

    In the current environment there really aren't any. Too much work, no direction, dissatisfied work force

    Cons

    Workload is heavy, very little pay, very little upward mobility. There really isn't much training or guidance. Dysfunction has become the normal day.

    Love this company! I work with great people who genuinely care for each other!

    The workload can sometimes be too much but they are always flexible and understand deadlines can't always be met!

    Advice to Management... Don't forget to treat the employees as family. That is what has gotten Allied this far!

    Pros

    Very friendly management in the loan servicing department. Lots of room to grow and explore. Hard work is appreciated and rewarded. A lot of people are on here talking about not getting promoted within... That's simply not true. They almost have to promote from within for a lot of positions, and they do. I'm proof, other people may have just been lackluster?

    Cons

    Compensation, but they are working on that. Hopefully will be better soon. It's a very complex job that should pay well, hopefully they do right by us.

    Overtime when approved, some of the people. Bonus once a year for everyone.

    Cons

    Not being appreciated, thanked for the hard work being done, pay, no communication or meetings with supervisor or manager on regular basis.
