    Pros

Different Available shifts available from 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift. Pay every week instead of every other week. Could potentially work overtime if some calls out

    Cons

Depending on your site your pay won’t be great. Not enough coverage and a lack of communication at times from the account manager

I worked at AlliedBarton full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great clients to work for!

    Cons

Uniforms are too big. Not great for women. Drowning in a men's suit. .50 cents more for a degree than what someone that doesn't have a degree. Not flexible. If you need off on a day you normally work, you have to ask around for someone to cover it, if not, you can't have off. Too strict for the pay. The few minutes you have in order to clock in on the phone system is ridiculous. Really boring

    Advice to Management

Loosen up and be more friendly jeezzzz

    I worked at AlliedBarton full-time

    Pros

    pay is competitive to start

    Cons

had many promises from different managers that were never fulfilled. they will change things for you at the drop of a hat, these things happen when they like you. couldn't count on anything and they even liked me there. many others had terrible schedules they were forced to immediately work out.

    Advice to Management

think about matters before you promise them to employees regarding matters like schedules and pay increases.

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    I worked at AlliedBarton full-time

    Pros

    - offered to cover costs for acquiring guard card

    Cons

    - no real communication between workers and supervisors
    - a supervisor lied to the next shift about my not agreeing to overtime and told them I would stay an extra 4 hours
    - was never relieved on time, supervisors didn't seem to care much

    Advice to Management

Management seriously needs to try being a little more discerning with hiring and promoting people. Not everyone is bad, but when you have guards at their posts for 12-16 hours at a time due to coll offs and lack of communication, that's beyond ridiculous.
