    Pros

Great for part time, college students, many retired military and law enforcement personnel. Lots of positions available.

    Cons

Poor communication with in company. Low pay. Benefits are expensive. Merger of the company has made it even more impersonal. Your just another number to fill a needed shift.

I worked at AlliedBarton (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of overtime, somewhat decent pay for this work -$16/hour base pay and $23/hour working on overtime.

    Cons

Dangerous work. Culture was violent, uber-male - lots of Ex-law enforcement, returning combat vets working for Allied Barton. Security Management spent most of their time outside smoking or in the office gossiping. Armed/unarmed. Be ready to physically fight with the drunks/mental cases they bring in to the Emergency Dept. for you to deal with. Keep your cuffs and taser ready.

    Advice to Management

Learn to value and respect your officers. This will also help you keep YOUR job.

    I worked at AlliedBarton full-time

    Pros

N/A-Company requires a lot of work for any pros to be stated.

    Cons

At the time of my employment, we didn't have sick time off. Employees would get written up for being sick and a doctor's note would not help either. Management would not support employees but bring them down.

I worked at AlliedBarton (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good employees.Good hours, off weekends

    Cons

The wrong people get the raises and promotions.
Management does not listen to the employees at all.
I worked for Allied Barton Security Services for 15 months and never received a raise after receiving all kinds of acculades. I was a very loyal and hardworking employee and all I got for it was broken promises, disappointment and was totally dissolutioned.

    Advice to Management

Management does not appreciate their employees. They have lost very good and capable people because of low pay and non promotion of the correct people. Management and supervisors don't know everything.
