    Pros

Patients are in good hands. Employees work well together across departments and other Allina Health facilities.

    Cons

Management needs to care about and value employees, and stop trying to outsource the jobs they do so.

I have been working at Allina Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a great place to work, they seem to actually care about their employees.

    Cons

If you work at the commons, you have to pay for parking and the PTO is not good considering that every single employee has to take PTO for holidays whether their office is open or not.

I have been working at Allina Health full-time

    Pros

For a not for profit company they have competitive pay and benefits. Good PTO accrual rate, even for new grads. Friendly people and smart managers that are willing to help you whenever you need it.

    Cons

It is hard to move up. You stay stagnant... its a good place to stop pushing forward for those big promotions. Most people have been in their roll for 20+ years. You have to use your accrued PTO for all holidays whether or not the building is open. The corporate location is in a rough neighborhood and in the same building as an apartment complex.

    Advice to Management

Your corporate employees are important too.. For the people that are willing to work hard for you, reward them.
