    Senior leadership is excellent
    Fairly good training opportunities

    Cons

    Mid-level managers need management training
    Workplace bullying is common
    Very few full time positions
    Pay is low

    Pay was a competitive; Opertunity for clinician advancement

    Organizational structure conflicted with business units by not being in the same organization; not all positions have a career path unless one is a nurse or doctor

    Don't move too fast and be open about changes/plans for the future; Not all clinicians are trained to be a leader;

    Pros

    Allina has a solid systems in place to support their employees and their expectations for excellence. They hold a Magnet designation, which is a hard earned and increasingly rare designation of nursing excellence. Also, supports for work life balance are real and not just words.

    Cons

    It is so large it takes awhile to learn everything you need to do your work.

    Advice to Management

    Love Dr. Wheeler (CEO)! Don't lose her - her authentic, transparent leadership is just what we need!

    I'm working a casual position and love what I do.

    Cons

    There at not many hours assigned per month. Thankfully hours can be picked up when employees call in for various reasons.

    Advice to Management

    Assign more hours to casuals and stop hiring on more .6s
