I worked at Allot Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    New technologies
    Interesting products
Nice office with rooms and working conditions

    Cons

Company lost its main source of income, shifts to security. Not sure what the future holds, it might be bought by other company. Managment seems lost in this mess.
No real bonuses (restricted stocks are problematic)

    Advice to Management

Keep your valuable employees close (by salaries or bonuses), because they are leaving in increasing numbers. There's just too much of uncertainty.

    Pros

Young atmosphere, light formality, good collection of talented co-workers hand-picked. 'Can do' approach with nice track record of achievements. Although we had many stressing periods there is team around you that help to share the stress and sometime have a good laugh.

    Cons

lack of strong sustainable management strategy can be confusing for people looking for stable, structured work place. as every other company there is no way without a bit of internal politics. Management is lacking diverse work experience, which may impact its ability to make required strategy decisions.

    Advice to Management

Increase management diversity, find the inner power of making required 'life-changing' decisions.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Allot Communications full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Reasonably good income opportunity, benefits are better than average, flexibility for working anywhere reasonably accommodated, a few very good people in the organization who really want to see everyone succeed.

    Cons

My way or the highway attitude from higher ups, unwillingness to adapt strategy to match different regions in the world, lack of focus on market needs for under-served constituents, actions don't always match rhetoric. Practically no path to advancement.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people on the front line who see customers every day. Be willing to consider a different opinion or approach to a problem.
