I worked at Almac Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Generous PTO That’s honestly the only Pro

    Cons

-Lack of communication -Clueless management -Favoritism with management and certain employees -You’re required to stand for at least 5 hours before you’re given a break and if you need to use the restroom you’re given an attitude -Benefits are expensive -Raises are at most 3% of your hourly rate -Hourly rate is considerably low -Severely Micromanaged by executives overseas -Mandatory overtime is strictly enforced... so there are months you will work three straight weeks -Supervisors are extremely unprofessional -Employees needs are overlooked in order to push work out the door -Zero room for growth

I worked at Almac Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great Benefits Really nice down to earth co workers Easy Job but the repetition of work will kill you

    Cons

No breaks Standing in on position for hours You will feel like a robot proforming the same production job Chairs at some stations would be great. You have to enjoy standing labor which I found out I do not

    Advice to Management

Allow breaks. People are human not robots standing at machines for hours.

I have been working at Almac Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Sometimes very easy job .decent benefits ..

    Cons

Horrible production supervisor -“ **se” Bathroom breaks are monitored by upper management ..favoritism specially two ethnic staff. You don’t know when u gonna be send home as a temporary.. So not stable income at this location specially..Souderton branch has not have this kind of problems.. “Go home “ ....it’s a very good company however, culture has been ruined by these staff especially some supervisors..... family friends of parmanent employees get jobs pretty easily even if they dumb as they are..u have to watch your back as they talk behind you.

I worked at Almac Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Decent pay, healthcare package. OT, When there are big jobs your always busy.

    Cons

Constant complaining and whining from the production workers. Not allot of critical thinking required to do any of the jobs. Repetitive, monotonous work. The break is literally 20min subtracting the time it takes to use the restroom and heat up food. May become brainless after a few months or so. Try to exercise your mind and keep it engaged or your life will be sucked right out of you.

    Advice to Management

Start recruiting employees who are actually capable of multitasking and producing and stop hiring and keeping older weaker people who just sit there and take advantage of those who can actually work.

I worked at Almac Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The job is super easy

    Cons

On the production floor at the NAHQ in Souderton, PA everyone is clique-ish and catty and the work is inconsistent. They also play favorites when it comes to promoting from within (work ethic and employee reviews factor in very little as long as you are close with the right supervisors

    Advice to Management

Management training for all supervisors and department directors would be great, and don't encourage tattle-telling from co-workers about petty stuff because it perpetuates discontent among employees and cultivates a negative work environment
