I have been working at Almac Group

    Pros

The company is fun and they allow employees to express themselves during times of fund raising for good cuases. Recognition is big at Almac, employees are allowed to express appreciation of others during recognized ceremonies. Celebrations are often at Almac for job done well.

    Cons

There are other employees who seem to bring morale down in others. Some employees do not want to be team players.

I have been working at Almac Group full-time

    Pros

Can be relatively lax if you get one of the good managers.

    Cons

This used to be a great company to work at. The founder Sir Allen Mcclay believed in the Almac family. Year by year since his passing the company becomes more and more like the rest. Terrible management with a few exceptions. Employees are treated like they are expendable and pay is lower than other pharma. Don't waste your time here, just go and apply to another pharma. You'll end up there anyway. You'll get told in the beginning that there is endless opportunity here, and there is technically. The party they don't tell you is that because they are constantly under staffed, you won't be allowed to pursue opportunities because you are needed in your current role.

I have been working at Almac Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fast Paced work with decent benefits. Strong employees assigned larger workloads and constantly compensating for higher paid/less qualified employees they work with.

    Cons

Stronger employees are taken advantage of and assigned unmanageable work loads with no support. Management points fingers if blame to their staff members when they should be Held more accountable.

I worked at Almac Group full-time

    Pros

Great client-focused, customer service ethic. Teams of project coordinators and managers work well together to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

    Cons

Exposure to senior managemen team is very limited, with silos between general management and upper management. More regular small-group meetings with members of upper management would boost morale and job satisfaction.

I have been working at Almac Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fantastic employees and On the Job Trainers, teams are great, still in training in my first month but already know of amazing growth opportunities within the business. Great atmosphere in the offices, executives and higher up managers are very approachable and friendly.

    Cons

I honestly haven't come across any cons yet so can't say. I don't expect there to be many. Other staff have only good stories to tell.
