    Pros

    good benefits , vacation 401K

    Cons

I worked at Almac full-time No job security.Work 10-12 hours a day and even weekends. They hire new employees, burn them out and send them on their way.High stress, high demand, low and lousy support, very demotivating place to work, stay away. Backstabbing culture, there is no team atmosphere, Management is negative, tense and not approachable. Favoritism . Dev department runs by sick people with mo moral at... all. All managers are fake and all what they do is find the way how to fire good people.

    Advice to Management

Advice to the owners: Fire management across the board and reinstall a whole new line of people who know how to effectively LEAD AND INSPIRE. Leaders who collaborate, respect, and include their people in on the process. Hire leaders who have shown they know how to LEAD. Quit promoting good workers to management positions for which they have no experience nor talent for and then expect them to manage well when you... give them zero management training and not much support.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at Almac Group full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Flexible hours, most developers are good team players.

    Cons

Overwhelming bureaucracy, preventing implementing the new methods of software development. Most of the upper management in Prod IT are paper pushers religiously caring about metrics with a complete lack of understanding the new technologies. Reorganizations every 6 months (those are not the cure for the above).

    Advice to Management

People who didn't build software from start to finish should not lead the IT department. Hire/promote IT professionals.
