    Pros

    Honest, fair and caring home office staff that are all very helpful when needed. The company truly does put the patient first.

    Cons

    Health coverage is a very high cost for the employee, and many cannot afford it.

    Advice to Management

    Continue doing what you are doing supporting our offices; we truly do work for the best home care company there is!

    Pros

    I've been with Almost Family for 3 years and love working for a company that offers stability. This company is the only company I've ever worked for that really values their employees. Patient care is really good.

    Cons

    A lot of hours. But we are short staffed and they are interviewing so it will get better.

    Decent 401k and PTO benefits

    Cons

    Terrible Health Insurance, redundancy in documentation for SOC , time consuming without appropriate compensation, Therapists are eval machines and treatments are pushed to assistants

    get rid of BCBS Kentucky and streamline HCHB with fiels staff input, not consultants

    Pros

    Working with the best team of clinicians I have ever seen. Very fair branch management. Not much else good to say about this company.

    Cons

    Corporate management is very condescending towards the employees. Employees opinions for the betterment of the company are completely ignored. The regional directors and higher ups do not realize that healthcare is not black and white. Also you dare not express your opinion to corporate or you will get berated by them. The benefits are horrible and extremely expensive. PTO and salary are nowhere near comparable to the industry standards.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to the branch employees. Don't just offer lip service.

    Pros

    Patients are grouped well for territory. Office has a scheduler.

    Cons

    Disorganized Office. Office operates with paper charts. Documenting takes too long.

    Quality of patient care should be improved.

    Pros

    Almost family is a great company. The company its self values its staff and their opinion. With benefits. A lot of great people work within the company.

    Cons

    Salary pay without flex time. You are expected to work more than 40 hrs a week and get paid for only 40. Management talks down to people in front of people.

    Pros

    Some of the patients you come across are great. Coworkers are kind, you aren't stuck in an office all day

    Cons

    Poor management, ridiculously high turnover, very high quota, company is constantly cutting the pay rate for visits. No regard for patient centered care. Company is still documenting on paper which means visit sheets and medication profiles are always lost or not filed. Very unsafe work environment

    Pros

    Satisfaction survey annually to voice changes that are needed-and the changes actually happen!! 401K, PTO, Benefits all offered. National company so there is room for growth!

    Cons

    Tuition Reimbursement of some sort would be a great benefit to offer!

    Continue to recognize your teams, weekly, monthly, etc.! It matters and it's appreciated!
