      Decent Workplace

Dec 10, 2020 - Outbound Sales Representative in El Paso, TX

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Hourly + Commission Incentives to make sales (winning iPads, Gift Cards, TV's, gaming consoles etc) Flexible Scheduling. Environment was fun at times and it was a decent work environment once you're used to it. Especially if you were a top seller.

      Cons

Supervisors would blast loud music in the front to make the workplace fun. However, depending on where you were sitting it was hard to hear customers, or customers would hear the music in the background and you sometimes might lose a sale due to the noise. Little company growth. Pressured to make unreasonable sale quotas at times. At the time sales tactics and scripts were deceptive towards customers. High turnaround. Calling repeat customers that refuse service. Customers that were on the DNC list would get called repeatedly as well. You can easily get burnt out within 6 months. This was a high stress fast paced environment most of the time.

      Honestly horrible-don’t waste your time.

Nov 5, 2019 - Call Center Representative in Greensboro, NC

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Time goes by fast. Vending machines always on site and food trucks sometimes on site because there’s nothing else around.

      Cons

Unrealistic expectations make bonuses entirely unattainable. If you get sick once within the month or have other responsibilities then you’re out of luck. Disqualified. The kind of calls you can get are random so you could spend 2 hours on the phone with someone and fix every problem they have but it damages one of the metrics you have to abide by. They just want you to take a lot of calls and hopefully get the customers what they need. The attendance point system is trash. It discourages people from coming to work and there is a huge turnover rate. The management is not supportive. They hire just about anyone. The work environment itself can feel hostile because of the kinds of people and management they have running the show.
