    Pros

    Employer Contributes to your 401k, Work Life Balance is good, IF you are looking to be in the linen industry Alsco is best company to work for. Their quality and service is second to none.

    Cons

    technology outdated. Old school way of doing things. Takes forever to get changes put through.

    Pros

    This company does allow growth and opportunities from within. I started as an hourly floor worker to management.

    Cons

    There seems to be a lack of communication between the different departments which causes some stressful issues.

    Advice to Management

    Better communication and an improved effort to show employees that they are appreciated. Longer breaks and something to help with the extreme heat.

    Excellent people, felt like family. Good pay and benefits.

    Have to be able to keep up with fast pace and lots of changes.

    Keep processes simple and in place.

    Financially Stable
    Established in 1895 and privately held organization
    Not to many organizational levels
    Management will work with people in times of need
    Pay for parking or transit pass
    Free Beverages
    Occasional team luncheons

    Cons

    No sick leave accrual
    Tuition reimbursement plan not widely advertised or encouraged
    Could improve information sharing between Leadership and Workforce at times
    Difficult to implement soft skill strategies at times
    No opportunity to tele-commute

    Advice to Management

    Be willing to show confidence in employees and empower them with more responsibility.

    Encourage use of the tuition reimbursement program

    Have some team events off site during work hours (i.e. movie, go carts etc...

    Managers valued and given autonomy to execute financial plan without micro-management. Large established company.

    Behind the curve tech-wise. Attempting to catch up.

    As with any job in this industry, demand is high and drives the opportunity for personal time off.

    upper management are great the company is the most honest in the industrial linen world. the company based out of salt lake city and all the people up there are great to.

    Cons

    there are only 24hrs in a day

    do not put stress on the people that are trying to make you money. they are working very hard., we are the ones in the trenches.there are only 24 hours in a day
