I have been working at AltaGas full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Diverse company with good employees and leadership. Company is well positioned in its industry and offers employees opportunities to advance within the company through internal hiring and promotions. Company also offers good work life balance.

    Cons

While the company generally treats their employees fairly well. Almost all non director / executive positions are under compensated when compared to industry norms. This leads to talented employees frequently leaving the company for better compensation packages.

    Advice to Management

The main thing management could do to make AltaGas a better place to work would be to improve compensation packages. either through increased salaries or improved benefit packages, as both are severely lagging when compared to industry standards.
