Great Concept but the Paperwork is too much

    Pros

I loved working with the students in a school environment.

    Cons

The amount of paperwork required by the company made it difficult to work with students the amount of time I would have preferred. Then I was often asked why I didn't have an many units as they would have liked. When I told them that they amount of paperwork made it difficult to see clients face to face as often as our treatment plans laid out was impossible, I was often told I needed to prioritize my time better. In other words I was expected to work way past school being out to complete hours of paperwork the company required.

    Pros

School environment was enjoyable to work in

    Cons

Low pay with pressure to bill all day long. If you don’t meet billable units you are told you may not get holiday breaks. There is also minimal training for the behavioral specialists and the never ending notes make it hard to focus on your actual job.

    Pros

Many of the people you work with are fantastic and the school setting is a tremendous way of getting directly to those in need.

    Cons

The pay is extremely poor, particularly for the MHA position which often get filled by someone with a bachelor's degree.

    Pros

The only pro for working wit this company is being able to work with kids and make a difference in their lives and functioning.

    Cons

This company treats their employees with absolutely no respect. Employees are not valued at all and they are only here to make money for the company. Your education is not even considered when computing wage. All employees make the same amount regardless of education, experience, etc. No raises are EVER offered! There are no incentives, no rewards, no appreciation. They change electronic time sheets to only equal 40 hours when most employees work MUCH more than that - at the company's demand! Doing this is illegal by the way and they know this! There is no real opportunity for effective or up to date training. If you want raining and CEU's you have to get them on your own and pay out of your own pocket. Their demands in relation to their compensation is way of kilter. This company thrives on making money on low income families and not compensating employees. Their wages have been the same for almost 20 years with no changes to match the inflation of cost of living! COMPLETELY DISPICABLE! DO NOT WORK FOR THEM! SUPERVISION IS HORRIBLE! UPPER MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE!

    Pros

My supervisor was amazing. Trainings were informative. Time off when schools were out was great.

    Cons

The pay is way behind other organizations that offer the same jobs. There are NO raises offered! Even if you've been there for years, you will not receive a raise. There are no bonuses or incentives to strive to get your job done well.
