I worked at Altavista Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I learnt a lot through the management training program since my Day 1 at AVG, my trainer and manager were very patient to help me, I got experiences in interviewing, training, and building a strong relationship.

    Cons

High competition company, you will work under the pressure.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

    Pros

They'll give you a job no matter what

    Cons

    Oh where to begin?

    i. It's a scam
ii. They'll lie to you about what the job is
iii. You won't make nearly as much money as they promise
    iv. It's a scam

Seriously, if you're struggling for money, don't take this job. You're literally better off working a minimum-wage job, you'll make more money there.

    Pros

*Many but not all coworkers pleasant to work with.
    *Public Speaking/Sales Boot-camp
*Optimal for ambitious, high-school grads with a lot of available time to work.
*Opportunity to move up ladder quickly

    Cons

*No Base Pay at lower ranks
*Account Executive (entry level) not the most transparent in terms of responsibilities.
    *cut-throat, competitive environment
    *"Business of No's"
    *descent sized learning curve.
*Management doesn't want to give too much responsibility to newcomers.

    Advice to Management

*Get new AE's their Bible and VZU ceritification within first week.
*Cash bonus to VZU grads? (just an idea)

I worked at Altavista Group (Less than a year)

    Pros

To be honest there are are none!

    Cons

    Everything!
Firstly they send you out on the streets to beg and held back busy individuals.
Charity is something people do intentionally not something you hoax people into!
    "Hey nice shoes........"
Why can't you explain to people what are you actually doing? This is such a great deed but you guys makes everything horrible! I've seen a few quit and despite the horrible reviews on Internet I still tried!

    Advice to Management

    Develop strategies to earn donors!
These people are basically hustling wasting their time and many others!
Don't hire educated people to hustle on the city streets. They know better!

Very enthusiastic environment, very friendly coworkers, you get to develop business skills that help you be successful in the real world.

    Cons

It is my first time in a sales position. It was a bit challenging to get accustomed to the fast learning pace and enthusiastic environment of the business.
