I have been working at Altitude Marketing full-time

    Pros

The culture, work environment and people are fantastic. By far this is the best place I have ever worked. They embrace a work hard, play hard attitude.

    Cons

Not very many cons to speak of. This may be nit-picking but the pizza selection provided for lunch and learns on mondays never includes enough Hawaiian pizza.

    Advice to Management

    More Hawaiian pizza.

    Pros

They do what they say they do. Hot industry, quick turnaround for commissions. Leads vary all across the board, but it's a numbers game.

    Cons

Lead flow goes up and down, typical for the industry. A lot of driving, have to be thick skinned about no shows and 1 legs.

    Advice to Management

Be honest about the quality of the leads. All leads are not equal, and sales metrics are more a reflection of lead quality than sales performance

    Pros

Compensation is performance based so you get paid based on your abilities. Good opportunity to grow within the company

    Cons

Many of the employees are unhappy and complain a lot. It's hard to keep motivated because of the negativity. Poor work life balance.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the motivation attempts

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Altitude Marketing as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Because it's a smaller company you get to wear a lot of different hats learn about the different aspects in PR. All the employees are very invested in your learning experience. They are understanding and flexible with hours, especially if you are still in college and have exams.

    Cons

Because its a small office you will have to do things like take out the trash BUT if you ASK ANYONE they will help you or even do it some times! It's a smaller company, everyone has to do their part in terms of keeping the office running smoothly.
