Not as advertised. People are fun but the culture is HORRIBLE.

      Pros

Compensation is about average. Breaks between projects allow for decompression.

      Cons

No 401k match. It feels like the partners do everything in their power to ensure consultants/analysts receive the smallest bonus possible. When recruited out of college everyone I spoke with talked about 30-40% bonuses as pretty normal. 1st year received 10%, second year received 5% of my salary, even though my performance management score was the same for both years and the company did better the second year! Working 70 hours a week is normal, and as previously mentioned don’t expect your bonus to reflect that hard work. Upper level management also does everything in its power to limit consultants/analysts contact with clients to hinder any chance for an exit opportunity. You will work in Excel/PowerPoint 100% for at least the first 5-10 years. Dishonesty runs at the core of this company. Many projects are structured to incentivize maximum cost cutting. This would be a good thing but when our benchmarks indicate no cuts are required, the data is just manipulated until it “looks good”. The culture that everyone mentions in other reviews is simply that the people at this company are a good time at happy hour. That’s it. The people you work with are fun. RECRUITS PLEASE UNDERSTAND THATS NOT WHAT CULTURE IS ABOUT.

      Pros

Self driven culture. Earnings are only limited by the amount of time one is willing to contribute.

      Cons

Absolutely none. Outside of risk of burning yourself out l, sky is the limit at the firm.
