    Cons

    Alverno is a terrible place of employment that does not value its staff. Upper management does not respect its employees and does not take correct measures when problems are brought to their attention.

    Advice to Management

    When your employee comes to you with a problem or concern you should listen and rectify the situation.

    The benefits were good. The culture was good until they hit financial troubles.

    Cons

    Limited growth
    Financial issues
    Low morale
    Low wages and no raises

    Advice to Management

    Employees should not suffer for poor planning and lack of vision by management. The reduction in retirement payments and no raises will continue to hurt employer morale.

    I have been working at Alverno College full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    The faculty and staff have strong belief in the college's mission and they provide exceptional service to the students. They are driven by the exceptional education Alverno provides. The faculty and staff are very collegial and understanding.

    Cons

    Salary is on the low side but some of the benefits are better than other organizations.

    Advice to Management

    Develop more of a business approach.
