They pay more than any other company but they are buying your silence.
Cons
AmTrust does what makes them money, not what's best for their policyholders. They do not try to do the right thing, which is something I can't stomach any longer.

You are selling a service to your policyholders, think of their needs once in awhile.

Pros
AmTrust is focused on having the right talent in the right positions. Not just moving the same unproductive people around from role to role. There is a strong push for doing what is right and taking pathways that benefit AmTrust in the long run. I feel supported in my role and I feel I am able to work with autonomy.

Excellent benefit pkg. Friendly coworkers.
Cons
Difficult to advance within the company. Ask for top dollar going in because it is difficult to get a decent raise or bonus. High stress among the entire company. Otherwise great place to work.
Advice to Management
Get rid of bad management. Have standardized training for new employees. Don't pass the training on to other employees. This is one of the biggest down falls.
