    - good office location in USA
    - big market share in Travel Industry

    - too much of micromanagement by seniors and managers brought in US from France
    - a huge communication problem with colleagues in France due to language
    - too much politics been played to keep projects and jobs in France

I will not advice anybody to waste your career time in this direction less company.

    Advice to Management

    - stop micro managing

    Pros

Place has vision about where it is going, ultimately likely to be one of the leading platforms in the hospitality industry. Fantastic benefits with a clear vision to going forward and a solid commitment to agile.

    Cons

The roll out of TFS was an utter disaster. New Market had a 'my way or the highway' attitude for months and only just started considering the remote offices in a meaningful way after many months; but this is only in Development. The rest of the areas are fantastic.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the level of communication between management and baseline employees. It isn't enough.

    Pros

Great people in other Departments of Company. Using Salesforce and Financial Force, improving tools to be used by the Finance Department.

    Cons

The local finance leadership is losing autonomy to Miami. There is one set of rules for the finance department and one for the rest of the company. Due to the failure to make decisions favorable to finance up front in sales cycle they have created a totally reactive environment where people are not empowered to push back.

    Advice to Management

There should be a review of the processes and an involvement of the finance organization in the sales process. Currently deals are made that are very impractical and hard to administer.

I worked at Amadeus full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of people that are helpful and generally nice to work with on a daily basis. Good family events. Benefits are good. Basic bonus plan.

    Cons

Middle to upper management leadership doesn't have much interest in changing the status quo processes though there is talk of change. For a small division, I was always surprised that the CEO and senior leadership didn't spend much time getting to know employees. Quarterly meeting communications, yet that was pretty much the only time any corporate strategy was discussed and the middle management team had little information on how it impacted a team. Very top down management styles. Product - quality is so so, utilizing outdated technologies and processes, lacking vision by dev managers, command and control environment. Not surprised they got bought as investment was sorely needed in outdated products. Departments are very siloed and sharing of employees' knowledge to improve the business is not encouraged. Lots of lifers that don't have any way of advancing their career (unless you are very junior) and again managers talk of opportunity. Witnessed some unprofessionalism by employees towards coworkers. Pay is not competitive, 20-30% below the market even with the bonus. Development staff is paid close to market yet every other team is underpaid significantly and regularly voice the opinions. Despite all you read, the culture is great for the old timers but not for people that are trying to make a difference and bring the company out of the dark ages.

    Advice to Management

Let all employees contribute to improving the business. Give more power to employees to make a difference. Get current.
