    Pros

    For my position I went through a lot of training on their systems. At the time I left, I had also served a total of 2 1-month rotations in Customer Support, so I could better understand the kind of issues they work on.

    Cons

    This may just be due to my personality, but I struggled with understanding almost everything I was taught. The Airline ticketing industry is very complex. Taking that on is not for the faint of heart.

    flexibility, space to be creative and entreprenurial

    Cons

    lots of issues with systems not talking to one another, but the biggest challenge was billing. As systems evolved over time, or were sunsetted or upgraded, the billing system struggled to keep up and customers were often invoiced incorrect amounts over large periods of time. Selling was not hard since the products are solid but dealing with account cleanup was a massive time consumer

    Beware of Horrible Leadership and a Non-Supportive HR

    Pros

    With an entire Technology Operations department understaffed, the employees working in the org work extremely hard and give everything they have to the company.

    Cons

    In the last 5 months the company has lost 5-10 VPs, Directors and Senior Managers. Beware of leadership that does not have clear direction and will work you 12-16 hours a day and discard you when you are no longer needed. You will be assigned 70-90 hours a work each week and be questioned as to why it is all not completed. The HR department will stand by horrible management decisions nonstop, and will not care about the employee. Their job is to support and achieve the goals and will of management and executives. As I watched so many other managers depart, it is clear that the company does not value their employees.
