Tips are good. They were the only reason I could afford to work here so long. Friendly staff. Layed back environment.

Cons

No scheduled lunch break. They often would book me back to back all day long with little to no breaks for 8 hours. Management was clueless about lashes and cared more about money than making their employees happy. We were very underpayed for the amount of work we did.

Flexible schedule . It does also depend on the owner/manager of the location, but from what I've heard from other employees in other locations they're all run about the same.

Everything! Training is crap. They have super high turnover so they hire any and everyone. They hold classes of about 15 for training and your shown once on a dummy head and I worked on 3 models and was thrown on floor expecting to be able too work a full schedule with back to back clients. Low pay and very low commission. Unrealistic expectations from owners and clients. If your location is busy then good luck getting a break. Front desk steals product commission. Owners don't care about nothing but numbers. No room for growth. Your expected to fix and fill previous tech work and trust me when I say some people should not being doing lashes! Not even worth the free lashes. They carry the cheapest products and anyone who knows anything about lashes can see the damage they are causing clients. Owners have their favorites and those people get away with everything.

The pay you 9$ an hour If your only booked for 3 hours that day they send you home although your on a 8 hour schedule. After 3 months your set on commission. If your appointments are spared out for an 8hr shift and you have one at the beginning of ur shift and another one at the end and both are refills you just made 24$ in those 8hrs .. because refills are only 12 and fullsets are 20.... plus tips ... the girls in the front desk make more than you the pay is the same mind as well sit there and answer calls they get commosion of retail and selling memberships they end up making more hours than you anyways. No benefits if you miss a day or have an emergency a note is required or a receipt if not dont bother going back to work because your fired. No pto off just make sure ladys in the houston are go anywhere that is corporate owned avoid LAN Nguyen locations you might work 40 hours she will somehow only pay you for 32 ... sneaky sneaky lady. Messes with the computer and makes it seem like you really only wirked 32..

They do in house training for those who have no experience doing lashes. They were able to give me full time hours and flexible with my schedule

I worked 11 hour shifts and would only get one 30 minute break for the day. They filled in clients during breaks instead of telling them we were booked for the day. Cared only about customers and not employees. You get literally zero time after each client to clean up or even go to the bathroom. The pay isn't great and you get exhausted with clients back to back to back. They took people in for free corrections all the time that you don't get commission off of. ALL THE TIME CORRECTIONS FOR FREE

If you have a family and children to care for this job is not for you there's no sick time there's no paid vacation there's no benefits clients will tip the bare minimum your commsion is only 6% on each service which is nothing. They book you back to back so really you don't have time to use the bathroom. The manager at this location is not to be trusted at all she does a lot of laugh in your face but do a lot of sneakiness behind your back. The owner is nice but she but she really doesn't care about you. The manager does not have her team back at all. Do not work here its not worth the time nor the money you can be making somewhere else

Working for this company drained my bank account. You only get paid for the time you are with clients. Clocked in and are not doing a service? You are encouraged to clock out and not get paid. If you do stay clocked in, your hourly wage goes down. This is assessed/lowered every 3 months. Upon hiring they say they give you a RAISE every 3 months when in fact it’s the opposite. Although they offer free marketing, it’s YOUR FAULT if you aren’t booked. They will have you drive home (unpaid) and call you back to do a service. You are only paid for this hour you are with a client. For 8 hours a day you are on call without being paid. They can give you an hours notice to drop everything and come in for just one client. None of this is paid except for the actual time you are clocked in. There’s no way to work another job when you’re on call full time FOR FREE. Absolutely no respect for your time or gas money. They adjust the time clock so you can’t get overtime. The franchise owner Bobbi Ramirez is AWFUL. She will avoid one on one meetings in regards to pay, is rude to her staff and will put employees on blast in group texts for everyone to see. Her managers, stylists and front desk all talk about how she is too controlling, rude and inefficient. Ask how long an employee stays there on average, it’s less than 3 months. No paid breaks, sending sick clients back to stylists for extra money, and charging clients for a removal after an allergic reaction. Bobbi cares about her wallet and that’s it. There’s no love, loyalty or a way to make real money here. It’s an absolute pit.
