I worked at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great starting pay and the ability to get raises very quickly. Full training in all areas are offered and if your willing to work hard and sweat everyday for 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, then this is the job for you. The 4 day weeks go by quick, it can be exhausting so proper rest and a healthy lifestyle will help you stay strong within this company. Beat benefits as well once you are a hired on as a full time employee.

    Cons

After 3 years of working with the company you "cap out" at $15.75, meaning you can no longer make any more money than that as a tier 1 associate. Your expected to want to move up in the company and that is the only way to make a better hourly wage, by advancing into management and operations management positions if there are any openings.

    Pros

    - Company works like a well oiled machine
    - Management works hard and does a good job
    - Pay is great for the job

    Cons

    - A lot of the workers don't really care and have to be pushed into doing their job. This leads to the good workers having to make up for them.

    Advice to Management

Don't just hire everyone, put a bit more effort into screening.

I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company cares about employees' happiness in regards what is made available to all at lunch, breaks, etc. - foosball, air hockey tables, PlayStations, break room - they recently gave everyone a pay raise as of 11/1/2018. Really liked graveyard Shift Managers

    Cons

Too many new employees just stopped showing up after a few days due to shift time/amount of work.

    Advice to Management

Better employee vetting process - add more employees per shift to handle workload.

I have been working at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

On top of breaks and sometimes yhey bring in food for the crew. Great pay good hours and oppurtuniies to move up

    Cons

Most of my managers are cool and friendly and like you. Some of them are literally idiots who make you question if they graduated highschool. For example i was mot paid for three weeks straight after speakig to 4 managers. Eventually get the right one and another manager passes my issues off to him.

    Advice to Management

Learn your job. Had one manager tell me no electronics on the floor because i was playing music for all my coworkers and we were having a good time working hard but then i see him walking around on his cell phone like an idiot. When i ask him to help me he doesnt know its like they hired him because they had to meet a quota.

Can be unpredictable volume- wise but that's as to be expected with this industry as it is based on customer demands
