I have been working at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Being able to go with the flow of working different places in the warehouse takes you out of comfort zone. Management is great

    Cons

people standing around while others are working with a purpose and management doesn't seem to mind. Management not always as honest when it comes to what's going on with the shift, amount of work...

    Advice to Management

Have conversation with employees and act on the advice given. Communication on a daily with employees good ,bad or indifferent . More incentives for hard working employees

I have been working at Amazon part-time

    Pros

Alot of room for advancement...great benefits

    Cons

Not enough room. Vans get in the way.

    Advice to Management

Start cutting the fat. Get rid of the lazy people, people who talk more than work, people who take break at 9:15am and return to work at 10am, just to restock bags, and if they can't fulfill the lifting requirements, let them go. They are slowing down other workers down, because they are lazy, and want other workers to do their work. Sort Team need to stop over stuffing the bags. I had a bag that was 102 pounds, and the weight requirement is 49 pounds. Someone can get seriously injured. But I love my staff, besides some bad apples, and the ambassadors are really nice. I plan on being at Amazon for a really long time!

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Can’t beat the stock. Stock price has more than doubled in less than two years and amazon is generous with stock options for management which makes it harder to leave before your vesting period is up.

    Cons

Working with Fresh, management is barely able to actually manage. There is no way to come close to achieving goals without being in process for the entire shift and associate attrition is awful, so it’s next to impossible to keep good team members. No trainers, no support teams. All responsibilities fall on operations.

    Advice to Management

Provide support to those running the business. Don’t take away critical roles and expect better results.

I worked at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to work at. Always open to promote. Awesome benefits!

    Cons

It would be great for amazon to pay more attention to the work environment at specific warehouses because some of them are great and other are very toxic with mischievous and poor HR staff and Management team in which creates a horrible work environment.

    Advice to Management

    Do the right thing.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Pays well. Software is good.

    Cons

Complete lack of humanity from an organizational standpoint. Managers backstab and lie often to get what they want. No one cares about or recognizes success. All they care about is highlighting failure, normally on meaningless metrics.

    Advice to Management

Get your 4 years done and get out.

I worked at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working from Home and the insurance benefits (that is, until they cancel it while your on FMLA)

    Cons

Appears you have to be either gay or a "cheerleader" to move up in the company. Poor management, Complete lack of business ethics.

    Advice to Management

Fire at least 94% of the management staff and hire a new, qualified staff to replace them. Stop acting out of hate and revenge on employees that actually perform better than you.

    Pros

Paid weekly . You can choose your hours for part time and also sometimes there is options to voluntary your schedule time off.

    Cons

Communication skills are lacking with higher management. Co workers like to gossip more than work.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention more to changing the things that are negatively happening.
Remove a lot of lazy people that come to work to chitchat rather than work.
