I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fast paced, cutting edge (in some areas), creating trends-not following them, lots of responsibility very fast if you can manage the timelines and pressure

    Cons

Relentless pace, project teams are purposely built to minimize dependencies and cost of coordination. Results in a lot of duplication of effort

    Advice to Management

Continue to obsess over customers to set benchmark in expectations, but build in the capability to meet them.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Awesome benefits and events that are carried out at various throughout the country. I love that Amazon is currently the best brand in America at the moment. The stock value is definitely a plus.

    Cons

Depending on your manager and site the work can be very brutal! The better your manager and support staff the easier and more feasible your workload will be.

    Advice to Management

Motivate your people and give them the autonomy to run their own departments. Micromanaging is an area of opportunity. Don't let weak managers do whatever they want. That's terrible. Nepotism can be an issue in the FCs.
