I worked at Amazon for more than a year
The recruitment process was fairly easy, called today and interviewed at the beginning of next week. Not a mentally stressful job, if you're a hard worker and move quickly you'll get along just fine. The colleagues were friendly and the atmosphere was good.
The night shift is hard to get used to and different for everyone. But you know what you're getting into. After a while it becomes normal and you adjust. No bank holidays off, not even Christmas or Easter.
Advice to Management
I've heard that the management changed since I've left and became stricter. That's a no no. Everyone works hard at the warehouse and the target deadlines were met efficiently, there's no need to pressure anyone. It'll just have a negative impact on the work atmosphere.Amazon2016-08-09
