I worked at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -Benefits
    -people seem nice
    -food
    -lots of parking

    Cons

    -long work hours
    -short breaks
    -you are expendable
-lunch room food is over priced
-low paying wage for high labour work

    Advice to Management

Amazon operates on 10 hour work days. with two 30 minute breaks (one at 11:00am and one at 3:00pm) which is honestly not enough because a big chunk of your time is spent walking to the break room (the warehouse has a 1 million sq foot size) and going through security to get your lunch from the locker room (or pay for it) and by that point you have only 15 or 20 mins left on your break.

I worked as a picker and after walking for 4 hours straight I took a quick breather by the water cooler to drink some water and I was told to get back to work immediately. Apparently even taking 5 minutes to catch your breath is considered "stealing company time" you have to be moving constantly to meet those numbers. If you enjoy slave labour wages and sweat-shop like environments I guess this would be the place to work. I quit after 2 weeks
