I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

u work for a brand , reflects good on ur resume.
    Only customer friendly.

    Cons

not employee friendly at all , managers favours certain people, HR unhelpful n not compassionate to associates, poor facilities in cafeteria (half the time water cooler doesn't work , highly priced eatables in cafe., only helpless , under compulsion people works there for their living , u will never see people happy excited , they will always be drained n unhappy.
i find the environment very unfriendly, Only Managers r happy as they have no work n chill around all day . Observed Racisim and favourism based on your ethnicity.
Shocking .............Amazon corporate write big things but ground zero bad deal.
No growth opportunities, if u have a friend or relative in Amazon they can push u higher......otherwise u stay where u are.
in spite of high productivity associates are ignored.
u apply jobs internally u dont get any response untill n unless u know someone who can push u , good and talent ignored by managers , probably they are insecure that someone talented might rise.
Poor state but company is growing as demand for online buying is increasing and its customer focussed , employees last priority.

    Advice to Management

Do a employee survey not on computer as u do currently everyday as associates fear that this might impact their job.
Do it in forms manually/Anonymously with drop boxes all around n let corporate gather the results .
