I worked at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great starting pay and the ability to get raises very quickly. Full training in all areas are offered and if your willing to work hard and sweat everyday for 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, then this is the job for you. The 4 day weeks go by quick, it can be exhausting so proper rest and a healthy lifestyle will help you stay strong within this company. Beat benefits as well once you are a hired on as a full time employee.

    Cons

After 3 years of working with the company you "cap out" at $15.75, meaning you can no longer make any more money than that as a tier 1 associate. Your expected to want to move up in the company and that is the only way to make a better hourly wage, by advancing into management and operations management positions if there are any openings.

I have been working at Amazon part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great pay and health insurance

    Cons

Management is poor, and it doesn't seem like they actually care for their employees even though they say they do.
If your are planning on making a career out of it. they try getting you fired after you been there for 5 years or longer so they don't have to pay as much in stocks or the raises you earned. they just get new employees so they don't have to pay them as much. Very stressful to work in since you don't know if you will make rate to stay.

    Cons

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits and time off. It is making me enter at least 5 works and that's all I have for Pro's for Amazon.

    Cons

Poor management, lack of quality training, unsafe work conditions by employees and the environment(even though safety is stressed, it is not enforced, at least not on night shift), required to make rate no matter the conditions, amount of employees you have to work around, or other outside factors beyond your control. Management plays favorites and the trainers/ambassadors have poor attitudes and are down right hateful at times. Can overhear management scolding other employees and talking about other employees. Breaks aren't long enough for the amount of hard work and long hours worked. There is so much more...

    Advice to Management

Get yourselves training, pay more attention to the safety of your associates, stop sharing personal information with other employees, stop playing favorites

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They have awesome benefits. Medical Vision and Dental. 14 weeks 100% paid maternity leave plus 6 weeks for your partner. Stocks after 2 years and variable comp bonuses every month based on attendence and building performance.

    Cons

It's hard work and there arent any education requirements so you work with some interesting people (to put it nicely). Overtime is killer too. Sometimes we will work overtime for months without a break.
