    Cons

Can be mundane if you don't have a process improvement mindset

I have been working at Amazon part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Not high intellectual demand Great if you like one job repetitously Easy money and short shifts

    Cons

Gets very monotonous, no challenge, very little recognition for busting your butt, it is a physical job. If you have good work ethic, even in the comfortable 68-70 degree warehouse you will Sweat.

    Advice to Management

Communicate better, take pride in knowing your employees and stop the disconnect with the tier one vs all the other higher tier employees. You make it feel like a feudal system. This is missed opportunity for increased output.

I worked at Amazon full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

    - Huge company with a ton of different opportunities across the world, in any position you are interested in. - Process Assistant role in particular is an excellent opportunity for building leadership and management experience. - Very open-ended roles with lots of individual flexibility in driving your own success. Large departments have a variety of processes, goals, and the people to achieve them. As a PA, it's largely...

    Cons

    - Easy to move up from Tier 1 to Tier III for anyone with professionalism and work ethic. Far more challenging to move from Tier III to Tier IV, requiring years of experience and a proven track record of being above and beyond as a tier III. - Use of broad "tiers" for a number of different jobs considered on the same level reduces wages and opportunities to move up past tier III. - Heavily chaotic, not particularly...

    Advice to Management

Prioritize the processes needed to achieve clear organization and communication with the team. This is a small investment in time for large rewards in reduced labor and materials costs.

I have been working at Amazon full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

None...Glassdoor informed me I had to write more than five words.

    Cons

You will be lied to by the recruiter informing you that you will receive bonuses annually as either a Area manager or Operations manager. Amazon does not pay cash bonuses. Amazon pays RSUs when you sign-on with the company. Each year you would expect to get some type of RSU or bonus compensation and this is not the case. Being with the company for several years I have yet to see an additional share or RSU grant. The company...

    Advice to Management

Truly reevaluate your compensation package for managers. Bonuses should be paid in cash and RSU grants should be standard regardless of how well the stock is performing.
