I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, expected to meet quota, good exercise, lots of perks and trainings even for outside the company (theyll pay for you to be a phlebotomist is thats what you want) Room to grow (unless you start on the bottom then you're stuck)

    Cons

No meant for everyone, very demanding. Very physical even managers walk 25k steps a day. Get ready to move.

    Advice to Management

SR leaders need to Communicate better to the bottom. Such as, Don't set a higher expectation to keep our floors clean while simultaneously taking aways the brooms because they're not esthetically appealing.

I have been working at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -You get paid to exercise.
    -Great introductory pay for warehouse.
    -Strong company with brand recognition.

    Cons

    -Off-site parking.
-You are just a number or letters in the system.
-May be difficult to move up (I have only been here two weeks and have heard a lot of complaints about how management has been the same.)
-Not always the most logical thinking, a lot of wasted time and energy.
    -Poor communication.
-Not easy to call in if unable to make it to work or accidentally schedule a shift at the wrong time.
-Misleading job posts ( I thought I was getting an 11-5:30 shift Wednesday-Friday, but that was only training. I have to wait until the post their Flex schedule and log in and claim work days before others snatch them all up. I don't mind doing that, but I thought and the other 20 people in new orientation with me thought we were getting a part time shift, 11-5:30.)
Little to no direction for day to day activities. I understand the business needs change from day to day, but when one manager says to do one thing and another manager tells you to do a totally different thing or they look confused as to why the first manager told you to talk to them about what they needed you to do, it makes me think there is little to no organization or communication involved between managers.
-Did I mention off-site parking? Taking the bus to get from their off-site parking to work takes extra time out of your day.

    Advice to Management

    -Get better organized.
-Communicate with each other and then the employees.
    -Expand your parking!!!
-Have a way for employees to actually call in, the number you provide only tells us to contact the Manager or HR, which is the only one that actually responds and helps.

    Pros

    $15 per hour pay.
Four 10 hour days. 11 hour days during peak. So three day weekends are nice.
    Great benefits.
Room to move up or around in the company.

    Cons

    Working around some lazy people.
    Honestly, that's about it.

    Pros

Education of transportation and logistics if allowed to advance.

    Cons

No career advancement without college degree and extreme homophobia which is treated with a blind eye.

    Advice to Management

Listen and see what is really going on here and treat people the way you would like to be treated or your family would be.
You keep people where you want them with no advancement opurtunities.

I have been working at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They recently increased the pay to $15/hr, which is really the main reason why and I so many others applied. You don't interview at all. Just pass a drug test and background check and you are hired. You are allowed to pick the schedule that works in your favor and the work is crazy easy. The people are all super friendly and helpful as well. I never once felt intimidated or nervous. You also can have any sort of look there, no restrictions on that. I worked in the sortation warehouse where all we did was take the packages off the line and put them in pallets to match their zip codes. Pretty much mastered it on the first day.

    Cons

You feel like cattle being herded to slaughter. They ship you all in at once and you clock in and mindlessly stack boxes for hours with a really sad excuse for a break in between. I honestly only worked one full day before getting another job offer. I am about to send in my resignation right now. You just feel like a drone working in a windowless warehouse all day. It may be easy, but it is very draining. I also feel like I am back in high school with how some of the coworkers act. If you are looking for an easy, okay paying gig then this is for you, but expect to get burned out FAST.

    Advice to Management

Management was super nice and helpful. I really liked them tbh. No problems on that end.

    Pros

Where to I begin. Let's start with immediate insurance as soon as your badge is in your hand. Many ways to take time off. Paid, unpaid, voluntary, vacation. Increase in both hourly pay and night shift differential. 4 day work week. Holiday pay (6). Swagbucks, gets you free items just for working. Advancement opportunities. Career path stock option. Great employee discounts. Many different shifts. So much more...

    Cons

Nothing just do your job and work when you suppose too. It's not hard, yes it's physical. Yes you leave tired. But it's what you make of it. Only hard thing is is getting use to a two week check. Lol after that minor adjustment, SMOOTH SAILING....

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up
