I worked at Amazon Flex (Less than a year)

    Pros

They paid pretty okay and the work, though repetitive, was fairly easy.

    Cons

There were never any opportunities to pick up extra shift. It constantly stayed part time.
Very inflexible when it came to days off.

I have been working at Amazon Flex part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay
    If you get your city

    Cons

    Drives are too far sometimes

    Advice to Management

Make sure whatever rack the drivers are taking they make sure that all the packages are on there and scanned
My third and fourth flex I had to drive 45 minutes away and 45 back which is the worst part because I signed up for Fresno not Visalia and Tulare where’s the compensation for that? Putting hella miles on my car and hella gas just to do so many of work. Make sure you don’t have a full electric car because you’ll have to take 30 minutes of charging time just to get there and 30 more minutes just to get back home, on top of that if my car were to break down out there my insurance wouldn’t pick me up. Like wtf if you sign up for one city you should be able to drive in that one city

I have been working at Amazon Flex part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Team you are hired with bonds and tries to stay very supportive

    Cons

Horrible, horrible virtual training. Management is verbally supportive but does little to help in actual cust svc environment. Hired for 20 hours per week but expected to work 38 (just under f/t) Very deceptive hiring practice. If you miss work you are terminated and CANNOT expect to work at Amazon again

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent about expected working hours. Train new hire with some job shadowing so they can see/hire customer service calls in real time

    Pros

great part time money and hours

    Cons

Gps is off sometime..its hard to see address at night

    Advice to Management

No access code in notes from customers and also in some of the gated community the customers names are not in access directory box..It really slows down the deliveries...

    Pros

Good for a flexible work schedule.

    Cons

The way the system is set up to get hours is useless. Only those with bots or people who are willing to stay up all night are able to get consistent hours. There is also little to no support for issues that come up while out delivering , and you will be blamed for absolutely everything.

Great hours, team, work from home

    Cons

Training is built around doing things one way but when you are actually on call its totally different
