I worked at Amazon full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Good pay and benefits plus the stock options are great

      Cons

The management process is abusive there is a lot of favouritism and discrimination, they push employees beyond their limits. Useless daily meeting ( called daily huddle ) absolutely useless where all the TRMS team ( risk management team ) needs to line up like in elementary school and listen to a boring managers speech that keeps repeating them selves to say nothing at the end. Little opportunity for a career growth...

      Advice to Management

Review existing managers within TRMS and the quality teams as Amazon has a employees retention issue in Prague office because of that and they keep hiring, spending a lot of time training and then firing peoples without any valid reasons or opportunities to put them on improvement plan if they are meeting the targets.......

I worked at Amazon full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Good starting salary. Many careers opportunity.

      Cons

Very poor Management that are cheating about performance (in easy word: if they like you they do their best to fake your numbers in order to make you get a promotion). No benefits, no freedom (if you go say hello to your colleague the manager will ask you why you were not at your desk). I can write CONS for hours but for now I stop here.

      Advice to Management

The management in Prague office has no experience at all. So try to hire more qualified people.

I have been working at Amazon full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Co workers, I felt bad for some of them the way they were treated. Jeff Bezos, you suck.

      Cons

High pressure, incompetent management, crummy cafeteria, HIGH turnover rate, my manager had more face piercings in her face then skin. Quit after three weeks, never again. Just the way they treat people is terrible.

      Advice to Management

Hire competent people for management and not hippies.
