Had a lot of work to do daily left over from poor management not waiting around to make sure shift cleaned before clock out this added to your already high work load

    Advice to Management

I worked at Amazon (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Don't get me wrong, Amazon is a great company to work for. Amazon pay and benefits are above average. If you like the fast pace, ever changing environment, you are young, and straight out of college with no experience this would be a place for you. But, be fair warned there is a price to pay.

    Cons

You heard of dog years? One human year is 7 years to a dog, well I would say the same for Amazon. People have aged years over night. Political environment is the biggest con, but there is also a hire turn over in all departments: floor associates, managers, and extremely high in HR department. They will run you into the ground and then ask what is wrong. They will put the job of 2 or 3 people on one person and expect you to have a work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Jeff Bezos really needs to investigate for his self what goes on. No warning, just show up. Jeff would be amazed as to the truth to all of the media stories about his management and HR teams.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Amazon (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Ny fellow employees wee great!

    Cons

Training is horrible and not enough time for break ad lunch. I would not recommend this job.

    Advice to Management

Have more consideration for your employees, they need more time for breaks because the whole shift is standing only, no leaning or sitting
