You have to meet your rate no matter what or you will get written up until you get fired. It doesn't matter if your sick or injured...they don't care. Bathroom breaks or water fountain breaks count as time off task. If you accumulate 30 minutes of TOT=write up; 1 hour=final written warning. They treat their workers like they are robots and will push you to your physical limits.
Advice to Management
Treat workers like people and not robots. Stop saying you care about your workers when you really don't because you just view them as number and don't care if they get sick or injured.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Steady work with good benefits, pay a few dollars above minimum.
Cons
Management pushes you to make daily work quota .If not, you get written warnings that can lead to dismissal. You can barely be able to keep work quota pace, then go home exhausted and sore all over. Many people just quit after a short time there.
Advice to Management
If you are going to push people to their physical and mental limits in a poor work environment, you should pay us accordingly.

I worked at Amazon part-time (Less than a year)
Pros
You get a paycheck and you get to meet a lot of people with different backgrounds.
Cons
Machines break down constantly, computers are not accurate with productivity rates. They want you to stay busy and come in when they have no work for you to do. Lack of communication. On your feet for close to 12 hours. On peak season you can easily burn out. High turn over rates. VERY repetition work, over and over the same things. Lack of growth. They hire anyone with college degree over some with experience.
Advice to Management
Treat employees as a human and not just a number and give full break stop counting the 5 minute walk to and from the clock within our breaks.
