I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)
Good compensation, including stocks, once your pass the 2 years mark within the company.
Also once you find the right team or career on Amazon, that allow the right balance of your personal and professional goals, you can say that you have work great life balance
I know some teams are very affected by the fast scale ability culture on Amazon, and ends up having overwhelming professional goals that don't contribute to the work-life balance. The company don't force you to do anything more, but the culture of people doing more, sets the bar too high sometimes.
Advice to Management
Nothing bad to say about my current management. The business I currently work, is not very affected by the consistent growing culture. So we are still able to maintain work-life balance. It's also a relative senior team, which contributes to an open communication culture.
