    Cons

Your career development is substantially depend on your manager. Some are mean.

    Advice to Management

    I worked at Amazon part-time

    Pros

The pay is better than working at Walmart, but till you start you do not realize you will earn every penny. You can roll out of bed and come to work in your pj's. You can pick the area you would like to work at daily.

    Cons

I took this position as a bandaid while I was interviewing for a professional position. But that being said I went in with every desire to do my very best, and hopefully move up in the company... it's Amazon! Well, that dream was quickly crushed. After four days of "training", I was put on the floor of the brand new CVG 9 sort facility. Because of my skill set and computer experience I was advised to go to ICQA....

    Advice to Management

You need some serious human experience training. Stop treating "associates" like bodies. Most people find an area they feel comfortable in and stay there. I worked in ICQA for the entire time I was there. No one learned my name, said thank you, great job. I never once met my "supervisor" One of the most saddest points of my life was working for you.

I have been working at Amazon

    Pros

Great benefits, paid time off! 4 day work week but you work ten hours.

    Cons

Low pay, too demanding. Expects a lot for little pay. High turnover, revolving door!

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better you'll get better results.
