I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Pay, freedom to work and grow, great people to work with.

    Cons

Options to transfer in this area are limited. Delivery Stations are separate (and better) than the FC.

    Advice to Management

Communicate plans better, weed out the managers that show favoritism.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fair benefits compares with others company

    Cons

They demand to much for what they pay bad management's not enough training the employee who been there for long time just want to go to the next position so they don't care to much who going to be in their old position so they just pick random employees so they can move on to the next level, expecting the person who they choose to learn everything in one day if you make a mistake you get fired that simple. As ridiculous it sounds that's one of the reason why Amazon constantly keep hiring people every day because 10 going out of the door but 20 coming in the door.

    Advice to Management

Be more productive with the training more organized and more importantly have more humanity because I am sure you guys are not robots you are human and sometimes you makes your employees feel like robots and not like humans with all the demand.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

VTO, benefits, decent pay, good co workers, HR and other great personnel available when needed.

    Cons

Consistently on your feet all day if you don't take VTO. A lot of moment with the body (walking, twisting, bending), have to walk through multiple sets of stairs to get to the break room which the breaks and lunches are short (roughly 15-20 mins) (only 2 breaks in a 10+- hr day)

    Advice to Management

A fully operating cafeteria with cafeteria workers and a full half hour lunch would be great. That way associates don't have to pack food for work everyday.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Starting pay was $12 an hour, with benefit enrollment available from day one.

    Cons

The job can be incredibly boring and repetitive. I count inventory all day long, ten hours a day.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire people so quickly only to pressure them to take time off day in and day out every week.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazon gives you the opportunity to think outside of the box; never bounding you to predetermined decisions. Managers have the freedom to solve problems independently but have a team of managers to turn to when in need of second opinions. No two days are the same which creates excitement and new learnings every day.

    Cons

Working for one of the most popular countries in the world comes with sacrifice. In Amazon fulfillment you can work 100 hours in a week and nobody will give it a thought. Time management is a necessary skill in order to create work life balance

    Advice to Management

    Take care of your people

I have been working at Amazon full-time

    Pros

Stock , paid time off and unpaid time off

    Cons

Quality and standard should be more looked at closely. I’m a counter and I’ve gotten wrote up because of building issues , meaning I’m told to move a lot , I’m stuck searching for workable equipment. I’m opening up problems due someone else’s errors and I get reprimanded. My supervisor loves to write people up but never ever post rates or even concerned enough to let you know how you are doing . I’ve seen good works termed and bad workers still there .

    Advice to Management

Train supervisors how to do something else but write people up.

    Pros

    Benefits are great
    Health Ins is BCBS

    Cons

    Pay is not
Feels like your working in a prison
    Always on you about TOT

    Advice to Management

Careful with your employees that work on the induction lines. Train your floor managers on restroom break protocol for induct employees. I see a lawsuit in your future.
