I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits, time off, stock, bonus pay

    Cons

Low pay, hard to make rent and cover all expenses on the low pay, hard work, long hours on your feet, favoritism among management.

    Advice to Management

Stop the favoritism, seems like the " favorites" are allowed to do the least amount of work, causes low moral among your hardest workers. The reason turnover is so heavy at Amazon. I work at CVG3, have worked at other Amazon buildings and CVG3 Inbound, seems to be the most poorly managed. Complaints fall on deaf ears, reducing moral even more, I always tell people, considering Amazon, to try another building if you can, avoid 3

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

people, benefits, fast paced, job security

    Cons

lots of overtime, work most all holidays

    Advice to Management

Ive been here 18 years, and the best advice for management is to listen to your associates, their ideas, try them out if necessary, there is no place for favoritism in the fc, dont take out your frustrations on the associates. ask for help from your team of associates, on what and how to do something positive in your building, and most of all be upbeat and happy with your job.

I have been working at Amazon part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The hours are flexible, the pay is great considering the amount of actual work you do, vision, dental, life & AD&D insurance after 90days. 10% discount on Amazon. Friendly staff, they give away tons of shirts and different swag. Random grill out days, tons of hours during peak, working for a company on the edge of doing more amazing things!!!

    Cons

Higher ups can be hard to deal with, as a SC employee you're not entitled to almost any of the same things FC employees are, hours are usually capped at 29 maximum during non peak. a pro and a con of amazon is they will hire anybody, LITERALLY ANYBODY!!! Face tats? Hired. Creepy and/or weird? Hired. Don't shower? Hired. Can't really read, or speak English? Hired. Can't do the job??? Sign here, HIRED.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on your internal candidates when looking for different tier/level positions to fill. Think outside the box, blank slate college grads aren't necessarily the best for the job.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good culture. You will never be called names or made fun of for being who you are. Time off is given to certain positions.

    Cons

Specialty OUs get screw over when it comes to days off and VTO. Market prices for food and drinks is a total rip off. Was better a couple years ago but it is changing for the worst. Thanks for taking away our project work.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your employees happiness and not just about their after call time or metrics.

I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great environment. Inviting, respecting (for the most part). I work in one of their top call centers world wide and though I haven't had but a handful of jobs, this is the best job I've had and my second time working here.

    Cons

The hours during peak season, around the end of year holiday season, are rather high and any time off is almost non-existent. Holiday pay is there, but I would like to spend time with family during the holidays.

    Pros

Benefits as soon as you start

    Cons

Not a lot of opportunities for quick advancement

    Advice to Management

Very smart people but not in correct management roles.
Just because you have a degree doesn't make you manager material.
